The worrying thing for Liam is that there probably won't be much demand for him anymore as a singer. Genuinely no idea what he'll do next.

I don't care if he doesn't put out anything ever again as long as he's happy and healthy. His personal wellbeing will always be more dear to me, given the shit he's gone through and the hell he's in right now. Prayers. Liam's hell is all of his own making. But even after everything, he still has the voice of an angel. The Japanese tracks from "BE" were simply astonishing. I want him to rest (yeah, as IF), stop smoking (everybody roll around laughing now), settle down with one bird (at least till his eye starts wandering again), and concentrate on the health of his voice and lungs. I've got my family so well-trained that even my grandchildren pray for blessings on the Gallaghers at night.

Although its always good to hear new music from Gallagher's, if Liam announced a solo album I'd be more wary of it than excited, just cant see Liam doing an album that's any good, unless someone is writing tunes for him, he has shown he hasn't the song writing ability to do even a good album, maybe get one solid tune, but otherwise he just isn't a capable songwriter.

This will be his longest break from music ever then. I doubt and kind of hope he won't stand that much, like those 2,3 years ,that's a long time, BE was released in 2013 afterall, that's already two years. But on the other hand, he clearly needs this time.. Knowing how much of a stage animal Liam is and how he prefers to be on the road all the time more than Noel who likes to take his time.. His brother gave him a hell of a lesson by leaving the band, Liam has to really get his shit together right now like never before if he wants to be back in the game. Fuck, he should join my band. Isn't that ridiculous btw ? There's so many awful singers and crap bands around and Liam Gallagher is unemployed) Problem is Liam is also a pretty awful singer these days. Hopefully during this break, he can sort his voice out and come back stronger than before.

Liam doesn't need to do a solo album, but if he does so be it. You never know it might be a surprise.
I'd rather see a new Oasis record. They've both done 2 albums each so....might as well get it together in 2016 I say. Just in time for Beverly Hills Cop 4.

I think noel will do a 3rd album at least yet Noel is enjoying his solo career and is pretty successful so far. He's already said that reuniting Oasis would be a step back for him and that was before the release of this album. He's since seen it go to No. 1 in the UK, received positive reviews and from most accounts, his shows are excellent. He couldn't be further away from joining Liam et al for an Oasis reunion. Liam will find his feet again and will be back making music when he's ready.

Well then Liam will reform Oasis and Noel will rejoin. But in reality, I didn't see Oasis going away for very long, a few years time.

I really can't see Liam doing much at all in the next few years. This really is a time where I think the best option for him is to keep himself under the radar for a while.
Obviously as fans we all want both brothers to be active doing things but that just doesn't seem like the best way for Liam right now.
I think the most we'll see him do is a few special appearances here and there like when he last saw him perform My Generation back in November - eventually a time will come when Liam makes his return but that time isn't now.

Well, I think Liam should reform Oasis, with Allan White, Bone Head and Guigsy, after- all Noel Suggested he should do that a while ago, since he never bothered to thank him for that Peoples Vote award.(lol)

Liam has already tried the Oasis-without-Noel route with Beady Eye. He ended that project because he wasn't happy with the results. Noel has never shown any interest in reuniting with his former bandmates since he's gone solo. It's been six years since Oasis split and Noel is happy doing what he's doing. What makes you think that Liam reincarnating any version of the band will suddenly prompt Noel to give up on his current glories to go back to old ones?

I just see it happening that way. Noel regrets leaving Oasis, as he could just be the guitarist not the front person.
I see him back, but I think he knows Liam will reform it with Bonehead. As for the other members well not heard much about them, maybe they want back in who knows. Noel is just waiting for Liam to do something.
I don't see Noel reforming Oasis.

Personally, I cannot ever see Guigsy being a part of a future Oasis lineup. He declined to appear in the Definitely Maybe DVD because he wanted to stay out of the limelight and a reunion would attract a much larger audience. I'm absolutely sure that Bonehead would do it. I don't know how relations are between Liam and Alan now but the drummer wouldn't matter too much to me. I'd be delighted if Chris Shamrock were to do it even though he's not part of the 'classic' lineup.

As soon as Allan White left Oasis turned to custard.
