I just hope he takes enough time. He always seems the most impatient one to get things done and get it out there. I'd say that is what really killed Beady Eye. Remember when he hyped DGSS, calling it as good as DM and the best album of the next 50 years? He was really thinking that at the time, now he admits they should have taken more time to write stronger songs...with another few months of songwriting, BE could have been much better as well. The worst thing would be a rushed solo album full of mediocre songs. I'm having trouble imagining him going solo at all tbh - he's the perfect frontman for any band, but just "Liam Gallagher" or "Liam Gallagher's Somethings"? Seems weird. I hope he takes his time for a solo album, maybe until 2017 or 2018, and has a solid plan. Guest appearances would definitely help. I wonder if he has been writing songs since BE (which would be about two years now - lots of time to write new stuff) or if he has been resting... It does seem a bit weird. Probably because the thought of Liam being solo hadn't seriously crossed anyone's mind until this past year. But then Beady Eye sounded weird at first too. And NGHFB. Everything seem weird until you get used to it. I daresay Liam Gallagher being on the cover of an album would become normal really quickly.

Making music is what Liam does, he'll be back at some point.
Let's talk about something important. Put. That coffee. Down. Coffee's for closers only. You think I'm fucking with you? I am not fucking with you. I'm here from downtown. I'm here from Mitch and Murray. And I'm here on a mission of mercy. Your name's Levine? You call yourself a salesman you son of a bitch?
And, if Liam has any sense he'll get away from whoever represents him right now and/or hire new management, and then he needs to pound the fucking streets and do the work.
A.B.C. Always. Be. Closing.

I´m sure Liam comes back with music sooner than expected. At the end it was him who quit Beady Eye so i guess he kinda had a plan for what comes after it. If he just wanted to have a break of the band there would have been no need for a split. He still is a big name in music, he knows tons of people in the business and at the end of the day its the only thing he is really really really good at and what he loves doing. So...I know the same as everyone else in here but i´m not so pessimistic as most of you A world without new Liam sung songs would just be a sad world...

Liam will take some time then will bounce back with not only a new album but a terrific memoir. Needless to say, it will "lovely stuff". It will tellingly describe the how he developed an addiction to Toblerone, drove to Dundee in his bare feet, and for a year, became completely off-putting to women.

This will be his longest break from music ever then. I doubt and kind of hope he won't stand that much, like those 2,3 years ,that's a long time, BE was released in 2013 afterall, that's already two years. But on the other hand, he clearly needs this time.. Knowing how much of a stage animal Liam is and how he prefers to be on the road all the time more than Noel who likes to take his time.. His brother gave him a hell of a lesson by leaving the band, Liam has to really get his shit together right now like never before if he wants to be back in the game.
Fuck, he should join my band.
Isn't that ridiculous btw ? There's so many awful singers and crap bands around and Liam Gallagher is unemployed)

I really can't see it. Especially because I think he ended Beady Eye due to the lack of fame he requires and experienced some insecurity.
Based on the above, if he can't hack the insecurity with mates around him, I don't think he's got the desire to suck it and see on his own. IMO.

I think he'll come out unannounced for a song or two at some Noel gig--maybe a charity event. I don't see an album or tour happening any time soon.

I would imagine that Noel being quoted in interview recently saying "Liam's should put his balls on the line, put his name in the lights and go for it" and make a solo album will make Liam more motivated to make music again. Noel knows how to press on Liam's buttons, and I guess he may have dared Liam like this to help him in a way. Just like he would make him pissed off back in the day by saying something negative about John Lennon when they were in studio, because then he would sing even better. I guess Liam must have been pretty disappointed and angry that Beady Eye didn't do better, and this may be the spark that he needs to return to music again. He can't withstand being dared, offended or anything like that without coming with some reaction, verbal or physical. If Liam was planning to live off Pretty Green or something, he may now have found some motivation now to try challenge his big brother again and show him that he can be successful in music on his own.

Hopefully he gets to studio next year, what else would he do. What else would he do? Music is his life... He is a young healthy man should give it another go. No depressions no expectations and once his legal cases are closed... just don t know what geezers would he have around him. Solo would be OK but I still believe he is a "band"kind of guy Regardless of how good/bad BDI were BE is still superior to 95percent of record out there these days.

Absolutely. I think he is definitely Not the kind of person that would give up now. I'd even say that Liam was somehow waiting for this moment be free ( Beatles references are so easy to make ) and have a chance to prove himself and show what he is worth without Oasis and Noel. Solo record would be very interesting, but i'd love a totally new band. Not even a supergroup or collaborations with some famous names, but i don't know, new guys, new gang like this Kasabian dude plus few other skinny motherfuckers with tatoos 40 years old kind of guys you know what i mean, new energy, rock n roll, new vibe.. Something like Velvet Revolver you know, but in Liam's style The Stooges. I think the best thing for Liam now would be just chill out, hang around, no pressure, get involved in something cool when the opportunity appears. Afterall he is already one of the most succesful musicians, when his next album or project won't do great in charts or whatever.. So what ? Who gives a shit ? It's about having fun innit..

He's too besotted with the latest bird to do any work right now. Hopefully he'll rest his voice and lungs while he's mooning around, then go get a job when the bills come due.

The problem I see is that I'm not sure if people, asides from die hards like us, would go to a Liam Gallagher concert.
Liam will always be seen as the front man in of an awesome band.
Liam doesn't even play the guitar on stage, I just don't see it happening.
Liam would need to write/ or get someone to write Class A ballads, fucking killer bluesey driven/electronica songs to get people going.
That is what I envision.

I remember a Beady Eye interview where Liam states that he'll never go solo because he prefers being part of a band. I honestly can't see Liam producing a whole solo album, but I'd love to see a solo type album of different producers and musicians with Liam on the vocals of each track.
