He nailed that. I thought he might have a little difficulty, but nope. Sounds great.

Liking that a lot . Agree would sit nicely on a Weller album. The way he sings the chorus reminds me of just getting older - for some reason.
It's one of those you can't wait for the chorus to come back around. Classic Noël.

Little By Little was the closer the first three HFB gigs. Fair play mate, a bit of variety would be nice though! To be fair, it's the best one to end on played electric. It was acoustic for the first three NGHFB gigs, then it was electric from London onwards. I'm pretty sure it was first of the encore at the Hammersmith Apollo but became last at the Forum on the Sunday night but setlist.fm says otherwise. Just checked YouTube, Anger wasn't last at the Forum!

I like the sound of Riverman. Reminds me of something Weller did on Wild Wood or Stanley Road. Can't put my finger on it though. Solo is alright.

Okay thomas (& everyone who has listened), on first impressions, where does it rank alongside Noel's songs from 2000 onwards? Up there with Gas Panic! and Everybody's On The Run, so far. It can be the excitement talking, but it's definitely on the top 10.

I honestly can't give an honest opinion right now. From I hear, it has a great groove to it. Very similar to Pinball. Chorus sounds very strong. The best part is the solo by far.

Sounds like a fuckin amazing song, can't wait till we get a decent quality recording! That guitar solo is immense! Lock All The Doors is the one I'm most looking forward to personally!

Okay thomas (& everyone who has listened), on first impressions, where does it rank alongside Noel's songs from 2000 onwards? After 3 or 4 listens I'd say it was pretty good. Verses and instrumentation a bit moody, chorus is uplifting if wistful and the solo is very 70's sounding to me. There's a bit of early solo Weller in there somewhere to. I'm not going to rate as it would be a bit unfair on this sort of quality recording.
