So Noel is going through a disco phase / midlife crisis. As a few people have claimed to like disco on here (here's looking at you andymorris) I thought I'd start an appreciation thread. Share your favourite tunes here... Chicago - I'm A Man Considered by many to be the first disco song, if you're a rock fan this is a good place to start. Absolute tune Diana Ross - Love Hangover Absolute Classic. I love the slow start and BPM change. Lighter, meet air. Teena Marie - Behind The Groove It's been scientifically proven that when you hear this bassline you won't be able to get it out of your head for days.

Nice thread! Personally I love pretty much everything from Giorgio Moroder. That guy really is one of the founding fathers of disco music.

Now this is some serious shit: Another Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd mixed with Mammagamma by The Alan Parsons Project... the video is somehow trash, unsettling and brilliant at the same time

Noel isn't making disco music. Its disco to those whose taste has the depth of Stella infused piss puddles.

I especially like that moment in Saturday Night Fever when the Latino couple was on the dance floor, and one of Travolta's buddies said they were going to leave a trail of grease on the dance floor when they were finished dancing. Cracks me up every time.
My fond memory of disco, that.
