Love how you're all judging a song which goes one for more than 5 minutes by the first 60 seconds, this place is brilliant My thoughts exactly. Maybe its an elaborate ploy to make people who click the last page think its all leaked

It's very much....Alan Parsons Project, Yes, Hall and Oates, Duran Duran, INXS, Depeche Mode....Not necessarily any one in particular, but, man, his formative years were the early 80s and he's sure bringing it out here.

Correct, and I unfortunately predict it will repeat the same structure as the first 1:30 and then Marr's solo, and it will end. Meh.

TBOMI sounds like Belinda Carlisle and Simon Le Bon coming together to craft an 80s sport montage while taking speedballs and being roughly sodomized by Michael J. Fox after he turns into Teen Wolf.

Meh. I now love what we've heard so far, so even if that's the case, I'll still really enjoy the song. But I think it is going to continue to build.

It’s just a reflection of a reflection Of a reflection of a reflection Will I see you on the other side? Reflektor I loved right off the start but songs like here comes the night time and flashbulb eyes were fuckin weird first listen. I thought they sounded way too crowded and nothing like Arcade fires old stuff. That's the sound of progress. An artist trying to evolve and not repeat oneself. I fucking lose them.

Predictions of what happens in that one minute left?(wont listen to previews before hearing the whole thing later.

Now I'm very fucking excited to see what Noel has done with the rest of the album! Definitely promising. Thanks for the preview, instantkarma84.

Hmmm not sure I'm having that... The bass is still awesome and I love the piano, but there's just too much going on! Can't hear a word Noel sings in what I assume is the chorus. Sounds overproduced to me

This is just amazing. How can you not like the modulation from the chorus to the verse? Never has Noel done something so musically sophisticated. And the 'chorus' (the part where he sings 'I'll find you', might be the bridge, who knows) is powerful and catchy. And those background vocals... I'm sold on this.

If I were LetItBleed I'd probably say something like "Previews are like having sex with a condom: you're not getting the whole experience"

According to their Twitter, XFM will premiere the track after 8am on Rich Walters Breakfast Show. I recommend just keeping the station on for the time being.

"Do you know what the enemy of music is? Interesting. Elvis wasn't interesting. The Sex Pistols weren't interesting. The Beatles weren't interesting. They had something that was fucking real and dealt with emotion. Do you know who's interesting? Bjork. Interesting is fucking ridiculous. It annoys me." - Noel Gallagher Noel says heaps of shit!!!! All that matters is if it sounds good to your ears, interesting or not.

Okay just heard the preview. I must say I like it, but it doesn't scream "awesome single and one of the best songs written" to me though. But I'm trying not to judge as we still haven't heard the full thing.
Having said that, I already like this A LOT more than ITHOTM.
