I know people have been speculating about The Mexican or The Dying of the Light being the third single, but I think it's going to be Riverman. IMO, I think Riverman's gonna come later in the album cycle to fill out the singles, like how Everybody's on the Run was. Single three will probably The Dying of the Light or Girl With X-Ray Eyes, which has also been talked up a good bit, also. I don't know how likely The Mexican would be to be a single since Noel's been talking about it as a "throwaway", of sorts, but who knows?

Dying of the Light would be a good choice in the If I Had a Gun Mould. But then again, maybe they're a bit too similar. I'd be really surprised if it wasn't released as a single at some point, I was just intrigued when Amazon said we'd get Riverman early

Once an album drops who cares what the single is? You can just cherry pick your favorite song off iTunes. They are all singles in that regard.

I think it will be the Dying of the Light, just because it's the only ballad I know its on the album. So thats the one with the highest probability to be single since every Noel related album had at least one ballad kind of song in the first three singles(Live Forever, Wonderwall, Stand By Me, Who feels Love?, SCYHO, Ltbl, IOT and IIHAG).

heat of the moment mighty I riverman dying of the light I could be wrong but I doubt Noel waits until his 4th single to unleash "The Dying of The Light". He really loves it based on his quotes from last year and thinks it'll do well. He will want it to be the newest song accompanying Chasing Yesterday. It's a smart move because the song has cross over appeal. |

He'll release what he thinks is his strongest single with the album I think. So I would expect that to be TDOTL. He seems to have really liked how that one turned out.

If Noel wanted to be really adventurous, he'd release The Right Stuff as a single. But Noel has never been known as an experimental person.

I'm betting that TDYOTL will be a single, I just don't know if no. 3 or 4. Riverman as the other one makes sense as well - although I'm pretty sure a trademark Noel Gallagher ballad is a better choice for a wide release and radio airplay, so I'd say Riverman as 4th.
