I think it's a bit pointless, really. They should've spent the time making a decent version of Thank You For The Good Times to be Andy's contribution to the record. The acoustic version he plays of that song shows the potential it had before it got drowned in Heroes style guitar wail and a copy of the Some Might Say riff.

I used to hear it played during highlights of NBA basketball playoffs on TV a few years back.
I don't mind it. I never specifically listen to it but when it comes on when I am listening to HC I let it play.
I wish 'The Cage' wasn't hidden. Of course w/ technology I now have The Cage as it's own song just after 'Better Man' w/ out the 30 min wait.
