Way late to the party pal. Many forum members been preaching them since the turn of 2014. Better late than never I suppose.

"Eyes To The Wind" is my favorite song for 2014 and one of my all time favorite songs.

Wow, a whole thread about this, finally! I love this band, I can't believe that I've discovered them a little more than one year ago.
Lost In The Dream is a brilliant, brilliant album. It just flows... perfect when you're feeling a bit lonely on a cold winter afternoon. There's a lot of sadness in there, but also hints of hope and thoughts of a man who's not giving up: this sums up pretty nicely my last year, so maybe that's the reason why I'm so much into this album.
My favorite track is An Ocean In Between The Waves: it's a monster, it kicks in quietly and then it gets bigger, and bigger, and bigger again... it probably is my favorite song from 2014.

I must admit I'm a sucker for new wave/synthpop music, so when I heard Red Eyes on the radio back in spring, my ears immediately pricked! Very similar in fact to a great tune by Rod Stewart called Young Turks (gamers will notice it from GTA: San Andreas!) and also has much Springsteen influences. It seems that much music rooted in traditional styles local from a particular band is usually a good basis for great music and it applies to The War On Drugs. Bought the album soon after, such a great album - in my top three this year definitely.

He does a pretty good The Ties That Bind I'm at the age where I dont like a lot of new music but it was one of my favorite albums of the year too.
