Oasis were mentioned as a influence on Kasabien in this months Rolling Stone Magazine. Not very exciting info, but you rarely see the bands name mentioned in any U.S. publications.

I saw that. But wasn't it saying something like kasabian wasn't as good as Primal Scream/Oasis/Led Zepplin forefathers? I got excited, especially since I've been missing out on Oasis ever since I visited the states...

"Make a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy of the past forty years of British rock and you're still not even close to how removed the artless pastiche of Kasabian is from the magic of their Led Zeppelin-Faces-Oasis-Primal Scream forefathers."
