Well, he said a third will be Oasis songs. So if he'll do 18 songs, there will be around 6 Oasis songs.

Since we're talking about setlists here, I sincerely hope Shout it Out Loud wasn't just a one-off thing for the 2013 TCT gig, and that it becomes a regular on tour.

So you mean my "dafuq" post? Yeah dafuq=what the fuck. I was a bit surprised by that tracklist suggestion. No I understand what Dafuq means.I mean the second post that you post on this thread Well..I don't know how to make it more clear than what it says now. It means that someone asked Noel in an interview about Oasis songs and he said that about a third of the setlist would contain Oasis songs. So let's say he will play 18 songs. That would mean that 6 of them would probably be Oasis songs. And I think Force Of Nature won't be one of them. Is it clearer now? Does this make more sense to you?

10 songs from the new album, plus DTD, Freaky Teeth and RS. 13
IIHAG, EOTR, TDOYAM, WAL and Broken Arrow from HFB1 13 + 5 = 18
DLBIA, TIOBI, Live Forever and an other one from Oasis 18 + 4 = 22.
C'mon Noely, only 22 songs. You can do that, we're paying a lot.

I'm interested in seeing how the new songs translate live if the album is as "out there" or involved as it's suppose to be...
I get the feeling, and kinda hope the album won't be very commercial and be more groove and jam oriented, instead of having songs with huge choruses and hooks.
The album considered a commercial failure but critically acclaimed would be great, but I doubt it'll be like that - Oasis music through the years is too commercial for that to probably ever happen.
God bless.

Surely he will play at least 7 or 8 songs off the new album? With HFB1 he played all of them minus STC which he said didn't work well enough live. I guess the best 5 or 6 of those will stay, plus new b-sides, three or four Oasis classics, that leaves room for about two surprises. Like D'Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman or Angel Child - I hope he keeps that up.

I'd hope him to play about 9 songs of the new album, some of the HFB singles and a few Oasis tunes, maybe emphasizing WTSMG since its anniversary.... maybe something like:
Hello Riverman In The Heat Of The Moment Do The Damage Everybody Is On The Run The Girl WIth X-Ray Eyes She's Electric Lock All The Doors If I Had A Gun Wonderwall (acoustic) Slide Away (acoustic) The Dying Of The Light Talk Tonight Step Out The Right Stuff The Death Of You And Me While The Song Remais The Same Underneath The Sky (acoustic) The Mexican While The Song Remais The Same AKA... What a Life!
The Ballad Of The Mighty I Whatever Don't Look Back In Anger The Masterplan
He would probably ditch one of the new tunes for Half Of the World Away and a few are quite wishfull thinking, but he played quite a few interesting b-sides last tour....
Anyway, time will tell, just hope he refresh the set as much as possible

However, I do think he'll include The Importance of Being Idle in there somewhere, also.

Just mix the setlist up a bit Noel, collecting Oasis bootlegs is a very boring pastime!

I mean, EOTR again as the second song? It even might be, but I guess Noel would want to throw a song from the new album as soon as possible. And I strongly believe Riverman could be a kick ass intro after a more acoustic version of Hello (ala IGTBF)... About DLBIA you are probably right, I just wish Noel would change a bit the formula, and Materplan would be pretty colossal as a gig closer....

Either way, it would be quite a gig closer.
