At least we know for pretty much definite that we will get this new song within about a week, as the Facebook announcement said to expect the video in early January.
Anything beyond the 13th which is the other date being thrown around would not be early January in anyone's book.
The sooner the better though of course!

If I have to check Noels news all this week and only see how he wants Liam to go solo I will personally imprison Noel's promotion team and replace them with a jar of strawberry jam.

The decision to announce in October and release in March is still completely crazy. Still furious were sitting like this THREE MONTHS after the first single was released.

Noel just called, the album is cancelled due to legal issues.

Noel just called, the album is cancelled due to legal issues. i do think that the delay of the album has been cos of behind the scenes legal wrangling with the AA. The oasis reissue stuff doesnt sit with me as especially MG came out and dissapeared with very little fan fayre / not much promotion except social media. the either october or march while might have some fact is easy to spin. Lots of major artist release at plenty other times of the year (i.e. every week) The first round of promotion FB launch, Jonathan Ross, all the radio show co hosts felt like proper album promotion that was probably booked months in advance which they just decided to keep for the positive press of it. (Even the master tapes thing wouldve made sense if he had 2 albums out) |

I read somewhere in twitter, that a sound engineer (that worked with Noel) called it "A KILLER".

But of course Noel needs to have a reason for the press, because who wants to say "yeah it has been delayed 5 months because I'm in a legal conflict with some guys"? We don't know the reasons obviously, but I've said it from the start: something is fishy. |
