Wrong thread, but In the Heat of the Moment was just played during the Arizona/Carolina playoff game Seriously? That's great. Did people seem to enjoy it? lollllll, it was playing as it went to commercials......so I wouldn't know. I don't know who would recognize it that's not a fan. So, it's minor exposure unless ESPN keeps that in their playlist for the playoffs, then maybe a few more people than usual try to find out what the song that's audibly playing in the background is. But that's really it.

So, pretty decent.

(Probably) all in the mind. Your new name is squeaks. Sounds more like the title of the next Radiohead album.

Tuesdays a weird day isn't it? Can't think of any songs released on a Tuesday, though perhaps dropping the video and making it available to buy the following week would be the strategy?

If I'm right in saying the the date came from Amazon.com, so from that I would guess that's the American release date. Singles, Albums and DVDs tend to be release on a Tuesday in America. In the it's normally a Monday, or even a Sunday for a digital download. Yep Keep saying that it's not weird in the US for such a release date. Tue is still a stupid day to release singles, daft Americans ;-) The sooner this happens the better: www.theguardian.com/music/2014/aug/13/music-industry-considering-global-weekly-release-date-friday-beyonce

The date of the 13th came from the American Amazon and it transpires singles are indeed released on Tuesdays there. So it may well go on sale on the 12th in the UK. Regardless, we're gonna hear it damn soon!!

The next two months are gonna fly by. I really hope so. It's so weird so say the sentence, "Next month the new Noel album will be released". Time has flown by. We should be expecting some initial reviews of the album three weeks from now as we'll only be about five weeks from the release date.

When the promo starts in the next couple weeks I think it'll be pretty relentless for a while which makes things pass pretty quickly. I'm hoping for more acoustic radio performances this time around.
