Tomorrow is Friday. Is there a better day of the week to release a new song? Come on...! Yes. Today, Thursday. You may have a point there...

Looks like the first play will be Monday. I'm just speculating but January 13th is past early January. Or maybe they will surprise us and play it tomorrow. They just need to fucking release it to shut us up for 4 weeks until the inevitable leak in mid Feb.

I don't think anyone here would be content for four weeks The day Mighty I is released count a week and a half later and people will be clamoring for more.

This is definitely another Don't Look Back In Anger. That's just how I feel when I imagine listening to this song.

Does anyone think it will be a ballad? Judging by comments from Noel - quite danced and Echo and the Bunnymen like - it sounds quite far removed from a ballad. Not that I'm worried, I love Echo and the Bunnymen.

Someone else it earlier, but I have a bad feeling it will be What A Life, Part 2…Noel seems to think two chords and repetition is what makes a good "disco" track…
Not for me it don't.

Not that I'm worried, I love Echo and the Bunnymen. Like what I said a few pages ago, this is the final track. In addition to have 5 minutes, this song has to be nostalgic, with some emotional feeling. Would be fantastic if Mighty I sound like Roll It Over, but less psychedelic.

Love Spreads by The Stone Roses springs to mind, but there must be others lurking around in my mind. Anything else guys?

Unless you think ITHOTM (Remix) is the final track, Mighty I keep being the final track.

Let There Be Love, but it was the final single of DBBT era, very melancholical.

They also said they'd announce US tour dates "at the end of the year" and that didn't happen. To be fair, a New York date was just announced Yea, the Governor's Ball. 3 days of mostly crap for $250+ and Noel will have an hour long set. He's going to announce more eventually, had to announce this because its onsale on Friday and they did their big lineup reveal. I can count on barely 2 hands the acts Id be interested in playing it. But Weird Al and Drake are playing it at least lolz. I'm in no hurry for US dates, I know he'll play something better around here than the Governor's Ball lol
