The whole thing has probably been delayed because of the Paris troubles. That's what i would do if i was in charge. There is no place for anything else in the world right now. At least fo a few days. Next week should be the week Music was still being released after 9/11. It's a tragedy, but it wouldn't stop music being released.

Is it not strange though that the song is apparently available in 5 days and we still haven't had any official confirmation. Let's face it, after the BHN debacle we cant trust a word Noels people say regarding releases lol Saying that I'm sure the song is coming very soon, I'm just tired of getting my hopes up Noel's Facebook page did say it would be out "early January"..... They also said they'd announce US tour dates "at the end of the year" and that didn't happen.

Wait... what? We're talking about Amazon not Wikipedia. Correct. Amazon is rarely incorrect on their sale date. Also, if it were going to be pushed back it would have happened by now. Amazon does not typically wait till less than a week prior to change their availability date. It would be an extremely late push back for that to happen. Amazon do occasionally make mistakes. When Rage Against The Machine's debut album was rereleased they listed the super deluxe version at £10 instead of £100. I snapped it up but they cancelled the order due to the mistake. I was left raging.

Actually a lot of release were slightly postponed in 2001, if i remember correctly. I didn't say it wont be released, i said delayed. Maybe it was planned for yesterday or today but pulled at the last minute. I could be wrong but i wouldn't hold my breath for this week. Monday or tuesday likely

I think they're being slightly more modern this time and announcing the single at the same time (or close to) when it is ready to buy.

I didn't see this. Info probably comes from this very thread, but who knows... Oasis News Brasil is run by AlissonBrazil, who has always been a reliable source. Maybe he can tell us something... Sorry. Only thing I've heard is that the single will be released in Januar.

It would be funny if all this legal speculation turned out to be correct, which wouldn't be a good look for AA.

It would be funny if all this legal speculation turned out to be correct, which wouldn't be a good look for AA. Yea, it wouldn't be good for them in the eyes of the hardcore fans on here. I'm sure the causal Oasis/Noel fans aren't even aware that there's a supposed new track just around the corner.... Doubt the AA care anyway, if they are due credit/royalty/something they deserve to receive it tbf

I'm just hoping that the hype for the song warrants the wait and that our expectations aren't overblown. That's an easy way to kill a good song.

Apparently the single and album are delayed because Noel regretted the album title.
They're now in the process of re-naming it to Chinese Democracy.
Stay tuned...

Or at least stream it like ITHOTM...I couldn't stand another "the new single will be out shortly!...in three weeks!". BTW, are you still believing in another HFB album in 2015?

It would be funny if all this legal speculation turned out to be correct, which wouldn't be a good look for AA. AA turning to the legal experts for help? I thought they'd be more the type to think the stars aligning would guide them the way forward.
