A promising indie/dream pop band from Brighton, UK. Very dreamy music with beautiful vocals from the lead singer. They've only released one EP with 4 songs on it. All the songs are pretty good. I hope their debut album will get released in 2015. The weird thing about this band is that we don't know any details about the band members, apart that they are from Brighton. Only a few instagram photos and tweets. Quite like that attitude, especially in this day and age when we get information from everyone wherever we go. Pretty fun to not know what a band is up to all the time. But on another hand I don't know... kinda dorky and stupid to have that attitude. I'm not sure what I think. It feels like they're trying too hard to be cool. I don't know. But with all that said; I really look forward to hear more from them. Sorry for my mediocre english. Hope you understand what I'm trying to say. |

Maybe they have a low profile to avoid the hype train. NME have written about them though, I think. Many music blog/websites (mostly indie) have written about them in their annual lists. They were in the Gigwise list for the most promising new artists for 2015. I think it's quite an accomplishment to have that recognition with too little promotion. I guess when the music is good one way or another you'll get recognition after all. |
