Apparently there are going to be 9(!) guitar solos on the new album, which makes me very excited. Thought it was a great time to list up our favourite Noel guitar solos of the past albums. My list does not include live performances.
1. Live Forever 2. Bring It On Down 3. The Importance Of Bein Idle 4. It's Getting Better Man 5. D'ye Know What I Mean 6. The Turning 7. Supersonic 8. Sunday Morning Call 9. I Got The Fever 10. Don't look Back In Anger 11. Slide Away 12. Gas Panic 13. Shout It Out Loud 14. Champagne Supernova 15. Some Might Say 16. Roll It Over 17. Rockin Chair 18. Headshrinker 19. Morning Glory 20. It's Good To Be Free
RnRS, CAA, ICSAL are also worth mentioning, but not as good as the other ones. Any important you think I missed?

Cannot believe neither of ye mentioned Listen Up. The extended solo, which is only on the Cigs & Alc single, probably my favourite solo, one of them anyway.

If we were going album-by-album, I'd say this: DM: Live Forever(WTS)MG?: Morning GloryBHN: D'You Know What I Mean?SOTSOG: Gas Panic! HC: Shout it Out Loud (a fucking B-side ) DBTT: The Importance of Being Idle DOYS: The Turning (should've been longer) Some things worth noting are that there are some really underrated solos on SOTSOG. Like for instance, the solo towards the end of Little James is quite a lick that gets overlooked because of how the rest of the song is. I Can See a Liar, Roll it Over, Where Did it All Go Wrong?, and Fuckin' in the Bushes, which has a chorus that has a lick that could somewhat be called a solo, are all very spirited, which is something that contributed to the album well. Also, Turn Up the Sun and Keep the Dream Alive have pretty nice solos. The TUTS one is at the end, and is rather distorted, but someone posted an OOPS track of it on this forum. It's really ambient, and just beautiful.

The Fame is probably my favorite.
Some Might Say and Don't Look Back in Anger are close.

Love Magic Pie's solo and middle 8 in general, like Desperate Dan has eaten a Cow Pie full of Acid and gone on a trip not too dissimilar to the bowling ball scene in Big Lebowski...

Roll it over be my fave, though I don't know if we can really count it...
Bring it on down or Headshrinker for the no. 2 spot, or maybe Rockin' Chair if I'm feeling blue
