this is from Just found this on Oasisinet.com forum, but the mods have quickly deleted it. QUOTE Hey everyone! We just returned from the Oasis video shoot outside of Tokyo! I can confirm that the video was for 'Stop The Clocks'! We arrived about an hour early, and stood in line while they gave us instructions. They told us that the majority of the video will be in black and white. When we got inside, there were two stages set up. Then, they started playing parts of the new song over the PA. Much to our surprise, it was a new song - NOT 'Acquiesce'. Then the first verse came in, and it was 'Stop The Clocks' (same lyrics as have been available from the Liverpool gig for years). It is sung by Noel! Then, about 20 minutes later, Oasis came out. (Well, Noel, Andy, Gem, and Liam pretending to play the drums! lol!!) They were dressed in their usual stage attire. Noel had his cream coloured Telecaster... Gem had his 12-string acoustic... and Andy had a new Rickenbacher bass!! And as I mentioned, Liam sat behind the drum kit with huge sunglasses! haha On the second stage, 5 Japanese men came out dressed similar to Oasis. One played a cello, one played the banjo, one had a sitar, one had a piano, and the other guy continually wound a HUGE clock counter clockwise. They filmed for about 2-3 hours. Basically, they were performing live (both stages). We talked to some of the Oasis crew afterwards, and they said that the single and video of 'Stop The Clocks' is being used to promote the new film, 'Lord Don't Slow Me Down'. Anyway, the song is INCREDIBLE. It's long (about 5.30)... and has many different layers and textures and instruments.... it gradually builds throughout the song.... starts off acoustic guitar and piano, then the bass comes in, then electric guitars and drums.... in the second verse, the cello and banjo come in.... and then during the solo, it is electic guitar and sitar! FANTASTIC!!!

Because it's fake! Oh, and anyway, didn't email's go out to UK fans to be in the video? Wasn't it supposed to be shot at a famous venue in London? This Tokyo stuff makes me believe it's BS...

That was posted on The Soapbox by a poster with a history of posting fake bullshit. So, this is bollocks, as far as I'm concerned.

I don't think we'll be hearing a banjo in an Oasis song anytime soon.

I don't think we'll be hearing a banjo in an Oasis song anytime soon. Dunno, I've heard they played a cover of 'When I'm Cleaning Windows', with Liam dressed accordingly:

I think they might mean a CLUB called Tokyo!.... And as for the banjo...dont you think could be just for the video and is not actully IN the song...could be a joke..
