Sorry if this has already been discussed before. So, with the end of Beady Eye, many people are talking about Liam starting a solo career. We all know Liam is capable of writing some good songs, but I was wondering if a whole album would be too much for him, since many people - specially Noel - have commented on his problems to finish songs. I keep thinking he's gonna need a good producer to help him out, but in the end, I think it would be a very interesting album. So I decided to make my playlist of Liam's best of, with Beady Eye and Oasis songs, just to see how would be a whole Liam Gallagher penned album. And it's great! Here's my list, would like to know yours!  1. Flick Of The Finger 2. Soul Love 3. Boy With The Blues 4. I'm Outta Time 5. Songbird 6. Meaning of Soul 7. Guess God Thinks I'm Abel 8. Wigwam 9. Maybe Liam could write an album of this quality solo but it would take him more than 5 years so I don't see it happening

I always thought Andy wrote Shine a Light. I'm pretty sure that's a Liam tune. I dig the vibe of that song. Has a Primal Scream edge. A good thing.  |

As Velvet Building, it was a Liam number but those lyrics are definitely Andy and Gem. |

His best of album is just 7/10 album. And it took him almost 15 years to write those songs. It is 7/10 album with this production of the songs. So to make really good solo album he will need really good producer. Or really good songwriter. But most probably both.

Considering that this is his output for nearly 15 years, it's not that great a best-of. I mean, if he did come around the corner with a solo album like that in 2017, it would be great...he needs to speed it up a little. |

Guys...thats just my opinion. I know that i wont make friends with that opinion here but who cares. I respect Noel for what he did but i'm not a big fan of his voice, so pretty much everything he does (even if its great) i can't rate being huge. To me when liam sings a really shit song it sounds average. When he sings an average song its a good song and so on... I hope you get what i mean  |
