All Around the World, Don't Go Away, and I Hope I Think I Know for me.


All Around the World is unbelievable with the instrumentation. With less guitar overdubs, hyper compression, along with less "tinny" production & length similar to how the Sonic Love Noize Concise version is, you all of a sudden have one of, if not, the best songs of the 90s.

Don't Go Away, despite the chorus being a complete rip-off from The Real People, is still a wondefully beautiful song. Liam gives a good vocal in this one and it's the calmest spot in BHN, but not the weakest by any means (that one goes to Magic Pie imo)

I Hope, I Think, I Know is pure pop, but it sounds awesome with Liam's punk rock vocals blasting from the wall of guitars. Liam's vocals fit very well with a song that seems to send off a big "Fuck you, I'm better" message. Love the song, and it's just (nearly) the perfect length.


Next 3 would be: The Girl in the Dirty Shirt, D'You Know What I Mean?, Be Here Now.


It's a pretty good album, but what kills it is the hypercompression & brickwalling, along with the length, to a lesser extent. I wish those two wouldn't have been done sooo extremely, because I believe wholeheartedly that this could've/would've tied Morning Glory & Definitely Maybe as their best (Stay Young being added would've made it the best imo).
