Foo Fighters will be revisiting most of the cities it paid tribute to in its Sonic Highways TV series, and then some, on their newly announced North American tour. The group will be on the road from the summer into the fall next year, beginning with its July 4th blowout in Washington, D.C.

In an effort to curb scalping, the band will be making tickets to all of the dates, with the exception of its Fenway Park appearances, available at box offices before "scalper bots" buy out the dates. The "Beat the Bots" tickets will go on sale on November 22nd at 10 a.m. Details about where to buy the tickets, including where to go and when to get in line, are listed on FooFighters.com.

Beyond the "Beat the Bots" promotion, tickets will be available in an online pre-sale on December 1st and go on sale to the public on December 4th and 5th.

Royal Blood will appear as the group's special guests from July 6th through August 25th, with the exception of July 18th, when Mission of Burma will perform. Support for the rest of the dates has yet to be announced.

Last week, the band released its eighth studio album, Sonic Highways, which it recorded in various cities all around the United States. The group chronicled the making of the album in its HBO series of the same name, in which Dave Grohl & Co. also explored the musical histories of each of the locales it visited.

Foo Fighters' Independence Day concert will feature an appearance by a performer from most of the cities the band visited while making the record, including Chicago's Buddy Guy, Austin's Gary Clark Jr., Seattle's Heart, Los Angeles' Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, New York City's LL Cool J with DJ Z-Trip, D.C.'s Trouble Funk and New Orleans' Trombone Shorty. Tickets to this gig are currently on sale.
