I think ITHOTM is a better single, its definitely has a better melody and the lyrics aren't full of Noelisms. I really like DTD on a production side and the louder guitars but it lacks something. Quality b-side though.

ITHOTM. Generally a better quality song, a better hook.
DTD isn't that far behind though.

ITHOTM. Catchy as hell, fresh sound, typical Noel lyrics.
Do The Damage is really good though... it's better than every NGHFB b-side except for LTLSALOM.

In The Heat Of The Moment all day and all of the night. Do The Damage has got people delving into hyperbole today because it's just been released and it's "just a b-side" but I think over time and in the context of the actual album, people will see that IHOTM is the better track (at least imo). Better production, better hook, (even if the chorus is a little weak, but it's all about those verses!) better lyrics, better vocal etc...

In The Heat Of The Moment for sure. Do the damage is a very simple song with nothing special about it.

I like Do The Damage as a B-Side, but In The Heat of the Moment is definitely the better song.

In about a year, we won't rate Do The Damage as highly. It's a B Side and I don't think it's worth any more than that. It's a Noel Gallagher song, though. Most people would kill to write a song that good.

In the heat of the moment didn't do much for me. It speaks for itself that I didn't really feel the need to listen to it on repeat, whereas Do The Damage officially started my personal hype for the new album
