Do you think Noel will just include the 4 bonus tracks as the b sides for what I think we can assume will be 4 singles? We already know Do The Damage will be the lead single b-side.

I hope this doesn't happen, because it renders buying any of the singles pointless if you're just going to get them all on the album. Most people aren't collectors.

He doesn't want to waste too many great songs as bsides cos he has another album planned ;-) I don't think you're right (sadly) but I admire your enthusiasm  Anyway, those 4 extra tracks look exactly like the b-sides in the order of the singles (i.e. the remix for the fourth one), which is a shame because some additional brand new songs would be great...but I guess it kinda makes sense. No wasting great/good songs and give the customers the option to get all of them in one place. |

I'm hoping for some surprises here. I miss the time when every single had at least 2 real B-sides (and no crappy remixes)... Me too. I hope Noel doesn't follow the current trend of acts releasing lame remixes as b-sides. Or just using the bonus album tracks as the b-sides. I honestly don't care if great songs are wasted like Alone on the Rope (which is one of the best 00's songs from either Gallagher even though its not a b-side) because at least they get released. His b-sides last time around were decent enough. I'd Pick You Every time is a solid ditty and Let The Lord Shine A Light On Me is a welcome change of pace. I enjoyed the AA stuff (fingers crossed for more of these especially since he reworked a couple of them). I hope for more songs though and hopefully they'll be better than Good Rebel cause that's probably the worst High Flying Birds song yet. Shame we'll never get 4 great songs per a single that was honestly one of the best parts about Oasis. Each single was certain to contain some absolute gems. |

Giving his history with Oasis, wouldn't surprise me that there'll be remixes/live tracks as b-sides. That said, he's only required to release one b-side now, hopefully we'll get a couple of new songs, but it wouldn't surprise me if we get the bonus tracks. Disappointed that Freaky Teeth is in there, we've got that already. Unless it sounds dramatically different, but I doubt it  We all know what Noel's like, it's a kind of laziness in him. |
