i spoke with Alex Lowe earlier today. He has stated that Hurricane #1 are back. He has talked with Alan McGee and there is a possible new album and tour in 2015. Alex said "hurricane #1 are back, but maybe not with all of the original lineup."
So, it is yet to be heard if Andy Bell will be rejoining the band. I sure hope so.

would have prefered RIDE by a mile I have to admit. Hurricane #1 have nice songs, but somehow kind of boring. But that fuzz filled noisey stuff by Ride was brilliant!

i don' t mind Andy, but....don' t really care that much. No way he could earn more with Hurricane#1 than with BDI.

Why does Andy always seem to be looking backwards? I was hoping for a simpler Andy solo release. If he was going to reunite anything, should have been Ride.

hes only allowed alex lowe the right to use the name he originally wanted him to call it alex lowe and the hurricance which is ridiculous .. as you may be aware alex aint a well guy so this was abit of a kick in teeth for him but now andy has allowed him to use the name.

I believe that Andy is gonna comeback with Ride (sooner or later)
and it's gonna be a great comeback if you think that Ride is a classic "shoegazing" band
