So now that Beady Eye are no longer, I thought of something this morning. Now bear in mind this isn't wishful thinking nor is it a rumour. It is just a theory.
Personally I don't see Liam doing anything else than singing. Andy and Gem are great musicians and so is Chris. 2015 is coming and Liam was on the record saying that, if the people want it, they'll get it. Noel on the other hand said that he has no problem with them reforming without him as long as they sign the royalty forms.
So what if Liam was planning to reform Oasis without Noel with the following line-up: Him on vocals (duh), Andy on bass, Chris on drums, Gem on lead guitar and... Bonehead on rhythm.
We never knew exactly what drove Bonehead away but it certainly wasn't because he didn't want to be in a band since he's had several since. If it was the madness that was Oasis in the late 90's then that's gone too. Given he's joined Beady Eye on stage several times in the last year and a half to play old Oasis songs, I thought "what if?". What if Liam liked it so much he thought "Fuck Noel, I'm doing this without him".
What do you reckon?

Well technically yes but if they had carried on with the Oasis name without ever forming Beady Eye, that's exactly what we'd have (not the line-up mind you).

No way , no how .....I've have said here many times. Liam is not as thick as people think ( and he likes it that way ) even liam knows doing something as fooliishly as that without noel ....is carrer suicide m he will be viewed as a laughing stock , first his band is a commercial dissapointment ......tnen he reforms oasis without noel .... I love your theory in the theoretical sense , in practically even Liam knows it's a no win move , and the fans myself included would laugh. Like page doing zep without plant or vice versa ...mick without keith. , No way no how

I do agree on the pathetic side of it though (hence me saying this isn't wishful thinking). If they didn't have the songs to become as big as Oasis (and arguably Noel) in Beady Eye, they wouldn't have them in Oasis MK3. Plus I look at all those bands like the Smashing Pumpkins or Guns 'n' Roses and think what they're doing now is more hanging on to the past than anything else.

I loved guns and axle is ruining the name ... He's a phony to the core , fake hair , lost voice , liam and noel I think care more about oasis legacy than tne pumpkins Or axle and would never stoop so low as to make money on oasis without the other .... oasis is liam/ noel they both know this and I think care to much about that than to reunite oasis without the other

That would be Beady Eye playing Oasis songs...just like they did on the last tour. It would be laughable, not to mention pathetic.
And Oasis without Noel? Insane. Stupid. No.

For me, this is what´s going to happen: Oasis reunion with Noel, Liam, Gem, Bonehead & Chris. Time will tell!

It's only just occurred to me how fucked Gem is a bit. What's he going to do?

After Beady Eye failed, re-uniting Oasis without Noel would stink of desperation and will end badly for especially for Oasis

LAG already reformed Oasis, under the name Beady Eye. They failed. And now no longer exist.
I really don't see an Oasis without Noel.

Yeah he's a very talented musician. It's a shame if he doesn't work with the Gallaghers again but I doubt Noel will replace Tim for Gem on such short notice. But who knows? He'll end up somewhere else.

No way. Wouldn't work. For starters and most obviously, this wouldn't be Oasis. It would essentially be just Liam. Singing Noel's songs.
If they DID masquerade around as 'Oasis' it would be abysmal. Imagine it did happen and you went to see them. You were under the pretence that it would be Oasis... they come out to Fuckin in the bushes etc. etc. Then they go into it, and you don't hear the backing vocals... you don't even hear Don't Look Back In Anger. I would demand my money back.
With regards to Gem, he will be fine. I think he will either A) Join Noel B) Join Weller or C) Form his own band

Lots of valid points.
But...
IF they did and they played MG in its entirety with some B-sides, I'll bet many of us would be right there.

If Liam wanted that he'd just have continued Oasis when Noel left

If Liam wanted that he'd just have continued Oasis when Noel left Maybe or maybe not. When Beady Eye started, the lads wanted to do their own thing. Now that they did and it failed, at least to Liam's expectations, given the now famous 2015 rumours, the timing is spot on. Plus the fans want it, Liam wants it and said the fans would have it and, truth be told, they got a lot of attention when they played Oasis songs at their gigs which must have sucked in a way but Liam isn't blind nor is he blindly arrogant. He'd go where the songs make the most people cheer. And frankly, I don't see what he could do other than that and I doubt he's going to retire at 42. He'd have to find another band willing to put up with his general attitude or become a solo artist which doesn't stick with him. He seems to me more of a band type of singer.

The thought of this makes me cringe. Oasis without Noel! No thanks. Same applies with no Liam. I can't think of anything more lame than the Beady Eye guys now becoming Oasis and touring Morning Glory. You know, 4 guys who weren't even in Oasis at that time. Gross.

As much as i would like to have some sort of a reunion next year (tour, single, album,... whatever) if they do it without Noel, Liam has lost me as a fan (and to me liam is still a hero)
