Gem can jump on second guitar now aaayyyyyy Can Gem have some self respect and not jump directly into HFB? Wait at least for the next album/tour one. I would love to hear material from a new band of Gem, Ride for Andy and whatever Liam does(collaborations/new group/solo) it be fine for me. Completely agree with you, Manualex. Well said about Gem having respect and not jump directly into HFB.

Gem's used to playing and writing music, and probably wants to continue that and I don't think Noel would welcome that, HFB is Noel solo, after all.
God bless.

it was my first thought when I heard Beady Eye split was whether Gem would jump in on guitars with the HFB. Its highly unlikely Gem would but I wouldnt be surprised, depends whether Noel has Tim Smith already lined up but with no gigs until March who knows. Noel did say he was out with people from Beady Eye recently at his press conference, maybe he already knew what was going on and had approached Gem. I do like Russ on bass more than Andy though, Zutons > Ride/Hurricane

Oh, the chances of him doing so would be so minuscule — I've just had feels since Noel's 2010 TCT show when they played together, they're such an incredible duo

I definitely think Gem would totally do something short-term, like one tour or something like that, but as far as an extended situation is concerned, I don't think he would do it. As you said, HFB is Noel's solo vehicle and once you throw any nod towards Oasis in there, the freakin rumour mill begins to turn again.
