I went to see Noel in Budokan last night. It was my second time to see him in Japan after seeing Oasis at Summer Sonic in 2005. My whoe experience from last night was completely different than European gigs.
Everyone stayded so calm, no idiots, no beer shower and no pushing at all.
Police men outside everywhere and many security guys in suits inside.
Budokan is massive. What a place!
I've never seen so many men in suits at a gig. They must have rushed to see Noel after work.
Also there was no bar, but a tiny shop inside where they were selling soft drinks and Chinese steamy buns!
I've seen some people eating one of those while they were waiting for Noel come to stage.
The door went open at 6 and gig started at 7, finished at 8:45, so pretty early for me.
No support act.
Noel was in a good form and had some funny banter with some audiences.
Don't Look Back In Anger was played electric. Same setlist, noghing was added at his last Japansese date.
I sung along with every song. Think many of his fans from last night go to see him again at Fuji Rock.
What a day/evening was that.
Thank you.
I went to Hamarikyu Garden and had a lovely cup of Japanese green tea in the tea house on the water.
I absolutely loved the cherry blossoms.
