Who's seeing Noel in Japan? I'll be at Budokan on April the 15th. It will be my second time seeing Noel in Budokan after seeing Oasis play there in 1998. I'm seeing Noel at Budokan 2nd night. It's my second time seeing him in Japan after seeing Oasis at Summer Sonic in 2005. and this is my first ever seated gig. Will be there a support act? Door opens at 6 PM and the gig starts at 7, right? I'll try to my very best not to act like an idiot cos I just can't sit down during a gig!

Apparently, it's not a common thing in Japan to have support acts, so I'm assuming there won't be one. Not sure who they could find to support Noel anyway. I got tickets through the draw and my seats are on the second balcony! God knows how small Noel's gonna look in that massive place. I'm also worried about being seated...I know the Japanese are quite reserved, even at gigs, but like hell am I gonna sit down during the entire gig! I've already apologised to the friend I'm going with that even if I'm the only person in our section standing, I'm doing it. Come on, it's Noel!

Japan tour goods I see the striped look from the album cover is the theme. The ruination of most those items in my opinion. I do like the pick keyring though.

I was seeing Noel and the band at a club two days ago, and glad to see horn guys who are from the local. (but Nagoya was only one guy) Tomorrow is last day of this japan tour, and that Budokan, and there may be a surprise. DLBIA should always be played electric, and now I love (Stranded On) The Wrong Beach this is mega!

Went to Budokan last night. Absolutely brilliant night. Setlist was unchanged from the previous Japan shows so no surprises there. A few observations:
- Noel and the band were as tight as a snakes pockets. Pitch perfect for almost the entire night.
- Before Digsys Dinner, Noel asked "was anyone here at the Club Quattro gig in 1994?", to which a number of people responded. He then dedicated that song to them. Clearly, the Club Quattro gig remains a special one in Oasis history.
- The Japanese crowd is much more static than UK audiences. Unsurprisingly, they were the most rowdy during Oasis songs. MASSIVE cheer when Champagne Supernova kicked off. Some songs from the last record got a good reception but not many from the new one. I think Riverman got a good response if I remember correctly.
- A girl in the audience gave him a mask as a gift and asked Noel to stay young. Noel replied "I'm gonna need more than a mask to stay young. Album and merchandise sales - that's what will keep me young." Cheeky bastard.
- All the new songs sound fantastic live, so I don't know what all the fuss is about. They all sound near enough like the album, so I'm not sure what others were expecting.
- Don't Look Back In Anger was played electric and was the song of the night. Massive singalong and euphoria.
- Do The Damage and The Masterplan aren't good opening and closing songs.
Overall, it was a brilliant performance by Mr G in a wonderful setting. The Budokan is lovely both outside and in. Top night.

I went to see Noel in Budokan last night. It was my second time to see him in Japan after seeing Oasis at Summer Sonic in 2005. My whoe experience from last night was completely different than European gigs. Everyone stayded so calm, no idiots, no beer shower and no pushing at all. Police men outside everywhere and many security guys in suits inside. Budokan is massive. What a place! I've never seen so many men in suits at a gig. They must have rushed to see Noel after work. Also there was no bar, but a tiny shop inside where they were selling soft drinks and Chinese steamy buns! I've seen some people eating one of those while they were waiting for Noel come to stage. The door went open at 6 and gig started at 7, finished at 8:45, so pretty early for me. No support act. Noel was in a good form and had some funny banter with some audiences. Don't Look Back In Anger was played electric. Same setlist, noghing was added at his last Japansese date. I sung along with every song. Think many of his fans from last night go to see him again at Fuji Rock. What a day/evening was that. Thank you. I went to Hamarikyu Garden and had a lovely cup of Japanese green tea in the tea house on the water. I absolutely loved the cherry blossoms.

One of the banters he had last night: Noel (to the boy in the first queue):"Do I know you? Have we met each other before? Have we had a sex together?" Audience: "Let me be your housekeeper!" Noel: "What? How much do you charge? Free? Wow, that saves me fortune"

I couldn't understand why they held the Budokan gigs on weekdays. Imagine how difficult it was for the working men and women to get there, especially with the crazy Tokyo rush hour. I'm sure both nights would have sold out had it been on the weekend.

Nice to see some banter on stage, too. It looks like they're having fun this time around.
