Haven't listen to Revolution Song in ages. But I just did... really hope he didn't cut the solo out I love finally getting these Oasis tunes mentioned and i guess somewhat heard so long ago I hope he makes it a lot better. I find I prefer Record Machine more as the Oasis demo. All the bass and shit is much better than the choir to me anywho. I also look forward to constructing a long lost Oasis album out out of songs like
Revolution Song Four Letter Word Boy With The Blue The Roller Morning Sun (I stand alone) Evil Eye Millionaire Good Rebel ect
I will plant it firmly between Heathen Chemistry & Don't Believe The Truth
am I crazy or does anyone else do that?
I find Heat Of The Moment & What a Life both work great when added on to BE
2 Albums or 8 years we might get to hear The Magic Can't Be Right and a bunch of others...
No one ever heard word of a song called "Velvet Building" before and we got "Flick Of The Finger" apparently a abandoned song from 2005ish..... I love that tune definitely BE's best song though I also love Soul Love, Don't Brother Me, Shine a Light, Soon Comes Tomorrow, Start Anew & even to a extent Second Bite Of The Apple... SBOTA does work better as a instrumental I think or just needed Noel's Lyrics the music is good but the lyrics erk me

I really hope the solo is still there but not going to hold my breathe. It's going to be strange to have it on a NGHFB album as for me it's on don't let it out which I listen to more than SOTSOG

I really like SOTSOG... I think it seems patchy but some amazing songs on there... and how Sunday Morning Call made the cut let alone a single will always puzzle me. especially when Let's All Make Believe was cut.

Don't get me wrong, I love it too just think the order and songs on Don't Let It Out make a better album even if FITB has a skip

Check the sound and vision board and you'll find it.

I've never been a fan of the song. Honestly I think it's average... good B-side material for a SOTSOG single, but nothing more.
(well, maybe the finished version will blow me away...)

Its an alright song, never thought we'd ever see it get a proper release though. At least its just a bonus track (probably a b-side too I imagine), heard it plenty of times already so I'm interested to see if Noel has freshened it up at all.

It's a solid 7/10 song. I think Noel just left it on the back burner and never did anything with it after all these years because it was written in the "dark" SOTSOG period of his life.

I think Noel would have made a fantastic low key solo release between SOTSOG and HC. I wanted this so badly at the time.

It's like Noel's Let It Be. I do like it, but I have no expectations of it, yet.

Really like the demo, it has potential. But the solo needs some work, because it's just the same riff repeated four times.

Will be great if he plays live, think he will leave it out though.

Anyone else think it'll be a bside for Dying of the Light? They both seem to carry the same theme.

I don't know why this song is so popular. It's so boring and the lyrics are shit.
'They took my faith they put it in a headlock' makes me cringe

I just hope he's at least made the chorus a bit more clearer:
'You could pitch your gold against my soul but I bet you get shattered' because, to me and a few other people I know, it's always sounded like he said: 'You could pitch your gold against my soul but I bet you get shat on!'

Never ruined it for me (except the first time I heard it) because I knew it wasn't the lyric, just always made me laugh and, because that's how I originally heard it, always stuck with me
