this is without a doubt my all-time favorite version: Holy fuck, Alan & Noel tear it up at the end. That was pretty awesome.

It takes a very special songwriter to be able to create such a beautiful song out of one's paranoia about impending flatulence. Go let it out. Hahaha.

This song is just like "The Girl In The Dirty Shirt", you love it or hate it.
I love both songs since the first time I listened to them. Rock In Rio version is absolutely classic.

IMO up there with TIOBI & Let's All Make Believe as the best post 1998 songwriting Noel did with Oasis.

It's one my top 5 Oasis songs. Very powerful and haunting. As someone with anxiety issues, I can relate to it.

I think the first half is a lot better than the second - but it's still an absolutely great song.

Not in my top 10 but still an amazing song It's dark and moody but powerful at the same time especially when the bass and drums kick in after the first chorus...and that fucking solo, just wow Plus I think it's Noel's best song ever lyrically speaking

Lyrically, it's one of the top Oasis tunes.
That's why.

In my top 3 Oasis songs, along with Live Forever and either Fade Away or Some Might Say. The studio version is so atmospheric and sends chills down my spine every time I listen to it. The whole song feels paranoid to me, which is exactly what I think Noel was going for. It's even better live, especially the version of Familiar to Millions

1:29 to 1:53 is one of my favourite Oasis bits of all time.
Too class.

I love Gas Panic! It's the kind of "gas being released effect" captivates me along side the lopping guitar riff. Live versions are better that the album. Would agree it's a bit long and i do often skip the end on the LP.
Its what I would describe as "accessible psycadellia"

I love it. Think because it's quite different for them as well with lots of different parts to it. Different sounding intro, trippyish, good vocals and production, lead part... Can't compare it to any other oasis song or a song by any other band

A bit of the hamonica please. Is that what the song actually says? I always thought it was "A bit more hard liquor please", fuck knows why, one for the misheard lyrics thread I think...
