Evening all
Sorry if this has been answered somewhere, but has there been confirmation on who will be playing in Noels band this time around?
I heard him say the drummer is the same, but not sure on the other folks
Not gonna happen, but I'd love Gem back with the fella from the Zutons staying on the bass

I don't think he mentioned anyone but Stacey.
I just hope Mike Rowe is back personally

I don't give a crap about the bassist and guitarist tbh. Stacey is back and I hope he'll do a better job and I hope Mike Rowe will be back because he is awesome.

Thought the drummer was very unusual on the last tour and didn't really fit the image of the band but really your only there to see Noel Gallagher so its not a big deal. As long as they all play alright I'm not too fussed who plays what.

I vote for all new guys. Not as a diss to the old guys, but just to keep things fresh.

I hope Russell Pritchard is back on bass. His back up vocals are great as well.

They're a band. I'd imagine that Noel would try to keep them all (unless Gem was available) to keep a bit of continuity from last time. He seemed to enjoy himself on tour last time, more than he did on DOYS

I tried messaging Russell on Facebook asking if he was going to be touring this year with Noel but never got a response. So I don't know what that means.

I personally loved his whole band. I thought they really all fit him great. As I mentioned in another thread, the closest thing I can compare Noel and his band to are Macca and his touring band. I get that same kind of vibe off Noel's HFB band.
I hope he at least keeps Russell. Considering Stacey is onboard (presumably), and there's probably a 90% chance Rowe will be too, that's half the first band right there.
Unless he's eager to change things up, why not go the easy route by keeping the same group of guys for the tour considering we/he know that obviously they all got along and they delivered night after night. Noel and us know they are reliable and will get the job done.
I mean, if shit's not broken, why fix it.

Maybe he should bring Jesus back? No way, he was total shite - all he did was play chords. Mike Rowe is champagne compared to Jay Darlington's Buckfast. Mediocre player who yet again epitomised Oasis in the 2000s with all those new members being at least 30 years out of date. The band are absolutely fine - if there's any issues, its with how Noel wants to play them rather than the skill of the band

You may not know it yet, but I will actually be playing the electric triangle on the tour.
You're welcome.
