So I was listening to the "Falling Down" Amorphous Androgynous remix through my new and expensive 7.1 channel Sony sound bar, I think I went back to when The Fall (the actual one) was happening while listening to this, and how all the chaos was going down, how God had banished them from Paradise, or Eden, or whatever you want utopia here on Earth to be called-- and then, get this, I was transferred to when Emperor Constantine and his wife was having their quarrel over whether Constantine should really let Christianity be legal or not (hence, the woman's voice is what you reckon Macbeth's witches would be like, singing "Talking to God to no avail....Time time time). And then that Salome beat comes in to the trailing linger of the lyrics, it reminds me that scene in THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST when Jesus Christ was in the beginning of his journey toward Calvary, struggling to carry up his Cross, and there his Mother comes up to the side of him, and Christ looks at her and said, "[See Mother], I make all things new." ...And then the crows are crowing, because, you know, in this world evil has won out. And this forum is a microcosm of that. You best believe that.

I've had some cool thoughts play out in my imagination to songs though so I understand how awesome that is when you get a good one.. You feel like you just "get it" |
