I think of all videos released since Oasis split, Shine A Light probably tops them all. A pity the song is one of the worst of the singles.
I think runner up would be TDOYAM video.

Frustrating. Release single on youtube, with no video more than a month before single is actually out Release official video over a week later, and still three weeks before official release of the single. Video isn't anything interesting, no good reason to watch a second time. Great promotion!... Noel's still got some learning to do on how to release modern singles. At least his album announcement was fresh.........for him.

Seriously, What were we expecting... back up dancers? It's all been done before. You don't make any money from music video's anyway. To be honest, yes, it's a bit of a dance tune and I half expected something a bit sexier. The Hindu Times had a bird dancing in it and they did it for Lyla. Ok maybe seeing Noel standing at a turntable with girls in bikinis riding on roller skates is a bit extreme, but it would at least have been hilarious and got shared about on social media, which is what videos are really for. btw I don't mind most of the Oasis videos

At least his album announcement was fresh.........for him. I don't think Noel will ever really "get the with times." Mainly, because he doesn't NEED to. He's going to sell his fair share of albums no matter what. He could announce an album right now and say it's not coming out till 2017 and as long as it doesn't leak, it will sell. He has enough support in broad demographics, including an older audience that still believes in buying music, and still has enough of a name, and still makes good enough music, that he'll sell the albums he's supposed to. Shit, he could be back to festival headline and stadium level soon. Until that's under threat, there's no real reason for Noel to change. And he won't.

I don't dare to watch it. Should I? Is it that horrible? Not horrible, just pointless. At the very least, Noel looks cool.

Dance songs should have a dance sort of vibe...it should be sexy. And the video should sync mostly with the drum beat. Honestly, I think the video sort of sucked out the energy from the song.

Honestly, I think the video sort of sucked out the energy from the song. It really did. Nice visuals but very poor editing.

Obviously a last minute job cause he hated the first one. I'm with eva. I hate performance videos. Cringeworthy and boring. How bad was that first video to drive him to this? And I how that means that he's gonna stop giving carte blanch to that American dude. I really wish Noel would take a little bit of interest in the aethetics of his projects. Right now essentially he seems to write and record sthe songs then loses interest in the particular I don't think he knows anything about videos and more importantly doesn't want to know. He was going on in some interview the other day about there's no point in videos cos there's no outlet for them - MTV is just a reality show channel, there's no Chart Show on ITV anymore. Wish someone would point out the obvious to him - YouTube! Point out for example that Happy by Pharell has got no less than 450 million views and he might pay more attention to them.

Love the song and the video is fine. To be honest I hated the videos from his last album. Cheesy and hard to watch. I think most people would rather see a simple band performance video like this. If it looks cool and sounds good it will catch people's attention. Screw videos with weddings and horses and all that shit!

The amount of word of mouth or social media interest / momentum a good video/song can create is crazy

Rollerblades, chicks and DJing would be a better choice. We would just say it's fuckin' ridiculous and Noel is a dick then, instead of debating on nothing cause there is nothing in it, this video contains NOTHING.

Rubbish video, you could listen to this song over the second bite of the apple video and it'd be almost identical.

It's not the greatest video but it paints an atmosphere that fits the music. It would have been cool to have a few more effects but at at least it doesn't make me want to vomit like the IIHAG and EOTR videos do.

Boring video that looks like it was filmed at the same time, in the same place, with the same camera and editing equipment as Four Letter Word....just boring and, to those that said it sucks the life out the song, I agree 100% with you
