As of October 7, someone from an agency had said to a friend she has put together a crew for the filming of a new music video for Noel Gallagher. In said (the) friend's own words, "Noel Gallagher has been shooting a new music video today.""My friend’s agency supplied the crew (for the shoot) and she went along for a watch - as you would! She liked it."I had a small chat with her (more like asking her if she would want to 'tell more', but she gladly told me how it all went down anyway.) [x]

He said on the radio yesterday he scrapped the first one because it was shit, he was a DJ in a club with a load of fit girls on roller blades. The new video is a performance video which he doesn't really like.

Not particularly happy he's using the same guy as the last album for his videos.
The last videos were far too Amercian for me. Not saying there's anything wrong with Americans, but when you're a Manc famed for your northern English humour, putting cheesey Cowboys in your videos is a tad incongruous!
The mind boggles ithat his best idea this time round was green screen a video of Noel DJIng into a scene of rollerskating girls. WTF!?

The Inportance Of Being Idle is the only decent Oasis video I can think of off the top of my head.
DJing? Skateboarders!? Honestly...

This video is going to bury the song. The guy who directed the videos for the last album was awful, i hate this videos there are the worst thing i've ever seen, they ruined the singles from the HFB 1, i never couldn't get them out of my head. Can't believe this can be any better, the guy defined bad taste in the last three for me.

Mike Bruce on TDOYAM video Three years ago today we were in Palmdale shooting this beauty. My original treatment called for a ballroom scene after the wander lust waitress steps into the carriage so we were scheduled to shoot the following day in Hollywood. On the drive home from the desert I started editing the video in my head to the song and realized we already had a complete video. What you see in the video is everything we shot. There's no extra footage. I took a chance and called off the shoot for the following day. Luckily it paid off. After she steps into the carriage and the door slams shut I slapped "to be continued" on it and crossed my fingers, hoping Noel and his management team would love the idea and want to do more videos. They did.

The TDOYAM video was not that bad, IIHAG was a bit cheesy but still acceptable, AKA...WAL! was quite good except for every shot in which Russell Brand appears.
The one which is utter, utter shit is the EOTR video. How could they ruin an epic track like that? Two fuckin' shoes, fuckin' Mischa Barton and Noel driving a fuckin' taxi. Unbelievable.

TDOYAM was the only acceptable one from HFB. I remember seeing it and thinking at the end "oooh to be continued, I wonder what the next one will be like" They all turned out to be awkward and shit.

Notice how each successive video got progressively worse? TDOYAM was alright, some nice visuals, WAL made absolutely no sense, IIHAG was boring tripe, Dream On was utter nonsense and then EOTR, one of the worst videos ever put to tape. Maybe the NGHFB video collection is some sort of stand alone performance piece on how to go from Mediocre to Complete and Utter Shit in five steps.

i think HFB1 vids were good as a whole,
Like been said in other threads about the artwork the video is irrelevant you watch it once if theres there an audio stream or lots if there isn't but not to watch the video. The music video is not really relevant to an artist like noel, especially when 3 spotify listens = a single sale in the uk charts

I like the death of you and video and the what a life video. Both were pretty good.
But dream on was shit and so was everybody's on the run.
If I had a gun was cheesy, but in a sometimes it works, sometimes it's awkward way.
