Sky Arts here in the UK have just started repeating the 2001 Glasgow Barrowlands gig, "new to the channel" according to the continuity announcer. The only downside is that this is a pretty heavy edit of the initial broadcast (which itself was edited). Anyway, I'm well aware it's been repeated on a number of channels before but the reason why I raise attention to this one is because Sky Arts plaster very little graphics over their programmes, apart from a small logo in the top left after the advert break for about 10 seconds. Other than that, the image is totally clear, and in true 16:9 widescreen. So if anyone wants to upgrade their existing recordings, here's your chance - unless this gig is ever released on DVD, this is the best quality these songs will be out there. The broadcast contains the following songs. 1. Go Let It Out 2. Columbia 3. Supersonic [Adverts] 4. Fade Away 5. Whatever [Adverts] 6. The Masterplan 7. Slide Away [Adverts] 8. Champagne Supernova 9. Rock 'n' Roll Star [Adverts] 10. Don't Look Back In Anger 11. I Am The Walrus Repeats over the next week are as follows: MUSIC: Oasis Live at Barrowlands On: Sky Arts 1 HD Date: Wednesday 1st October 2014 Time: 3:30 to 4:45 (1 hour and 15 minutes long) Date: Friday 3rd October 2014 Time: 15:00 to 16:20 (1 hour and 20 minutes long) Date: Sunday 5th October 2014 Time: 1:00 to 2:20 (1 hour and 20 minutes long) Date: Sunday 5th October 2014 Time: 10:50 to 12:10 (1 hour and 20 minutes long) Filmed live at Glasgow's famous Barrowland Ballroom in 2001, Oasis perform a sensational set of classic hits. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Excerpt taken from DigiGuide - the world's best TV guide available from www.getdigiguide.tv/?p=1&r=36432Copyright (c) GipsyMedia Limited.

Damn it, the only reason I recorded it was for a decent quality version of Gas Panic! from this gig

Thanks for the info. Hope someone can record. Would love to have some HD footage Just a note, the source footage isn't true (720/1080) HD, the channel broadcasts at a HD resolution, but as the initial footage is SD it's just an upscale.

Thanks deadman for the info. I knew it was on again but I didn't know it was a heavily cut version.

It's on Catch Up TV too if you've got Sky+HD and it's connected to the internet, the bonus being there are no adverts. Whatever happened to the three songs that weren't broadcast back in 2001? The Hindu Times and Hung In A Bad Place weren't broadcast due to being unreleased but also Live Forever wasn't broadcast. They must've been filmed at the time so surely must be somewhere!

If I recall, there's a little clip of HIABP on the Heathen Chemistry EPK. I would be try and be optimistic and say that if it was ever released on DVD, if would include the full thing. Then I remember the last concert released on DVD (Manchester 2005, on the bonus DVD with Lord Don't Slow Me Down) and the fact that it was the TV edit, shown a few weeks earlier and which omitted a few tracks (I think Bring It On Down, Guess God Thinks I'm Abel and maybe another one).
