I personally have the bbc radio 2 gig from November 2011, as well as the terrible demo version.

I hate the demo with a passion. Those damn rattles.
I quite like this fan version too.

I agree about Casino de Paris 2011. It was great. The BBC 2 could have been better if Noel had less alcohol the night before.

So what are we thinking for this tune..........
1) Future b-side for the next album cycle?
2) Album track on next release?
3) We will never hear the "official" studio version?

Maybe it'll go the same as with Stop The Clocks: he'll fiddle around with it and record 87463528 demos and then lets a shit producer screw up the album version in 10 years.

Haha yeah, first single on Noel's 4th solo album in 2026. But honestly i don't think this song is worth releasing. I don't get all that James Bond vibe of him that was going on during last record and this song is pretty weak to be honest. And this soul ho ho ho ho thing, what is this ? Santa Claus or something ? Ridiculous. Ho ho ho ho. Nah.

I think it's more meant to be like "soul oul oul oul"

I'm hoping for less "soul" on the new album anyway.

I like the Itunes Festival version with the piano. There's a definitely "James Bond style" with it. Maybe you can replace it with a string section, I don't know, i'm not a producer . It's a great song, with Adele singing it would be better and perfect for a James Bond film.
