Daydreaming is fantastic isn't it? Wasn't blown away at first but it's grown on me a lot already. Really excited for Sunday!

Sounds a lot like Sigur Ros, doesn't it? Surprisingly warm and relaxing for a Radiohead song, and in that respect it's a bit like Knives Out b-side Worrywort. Strings are used quite well here, though I'm not a huge fan of the "snoring" noises at the end of the track. It'll probably take me a few more listens to fully appreciate this one, as it hasn't grabbed me yet, but that's to be expected with Radiohead songs.
Also, has anyone noticed how long the song is? Radiohead hardly ever do songs longer than 5 and a half minutes, even though a lot of them could conceivably last forever (ex: most of TKOL). Daydreaming's length of 6:24 barely edges out Paranoid Android as Radiohead's second longest song, behind TKOL b-side Supercollider.

Shows you don't need a massive budget to make an interesting video. Why is Noel putting out garbage like that awful Riverman video when he could be doing something simple but interesting like this? When it first started it kind of reminded me of the BOTMI video. Of course one of Noel's better ones.

I don't want Radiohead to release anymore information prior to unleashing the album on Sunday. No album title, artwork or track names. I wanna be completely surprised. Classic Radiohead style. Knives out!

Love this track. It's deceptively simple, there's much more going on below the surface than what you hear on first listen.
If you guys like it, you should definitely check out Nils Frahm's stuff and also some of Aleksi Perala's (the first tracks of the Colundi Sequence Level 10 come to mind).

So the album will be available on Radiohead's website tomorrow, or iTunes? And, I just put in eva's credit card information and presto, I have the album? I wouldn't say I think these first two songs are best songs in the last 50 years, and I've only listened to half of 'daydreaming, I kinda wanna take it all in tomorrow.....I also haven't listened to the new songs via earphones, my favorite way to listen to music, so..... Thanks.

I like both tracks and both videos. I like weird and creepy shit. Looking forward to this album.
I'm not a big Radiohead-head or something, but I do have quite a few songs on my phone and often listen to Radiohead on Spotify, on shuffle.

People starting to put Daydreaming among their very best work - meanwhile, my headphones have broke. Fuck.

I love the alienation of "Daydreaming". It sounds like it could be in the film "Her".

We still have not heard any guitars of Spectre, Burn The Witch and Daydreaming. I sometimes wonder what guys like Ed and Colin do during these sessions.

I've heard that both of them work in sampling and programming. Ed in particular uses a lot of effects pedals to create cool sounds, and not just with his guitar.

Treefingers is a perfect example of Ed taking a guitar lick, loop it, sample it and change up the speeds. People think it's keyboards. it's not.

Besides the "Hi" on the shirt(pic I posted earlier, see the top right corner) and the outro that has something backwards is there anything that I need to know about daydreaming?

So how and where can we get this album? I think it'll be pretty much everywhere. You can get it through DAS / W.A.S.T.E and it'll be on Spotify and presumably iTunes / Apple Music. If you can't get it like that, Radio 6 Music are playing it in full upon release.
