Seems as though 'Stop the Clocks', as well as 'The Boy With The Blues' will definitely be on the album. Rolling Stone reported it and they don't tend to report things without knowing the facts (at least in my experience)

yes but the chances are they got it from the sun believing it was fact. if it was a british publication they would have known better...nothing been announced.

If that fucking Sun story is in Rolling Stone, then it's only a matter of time before Oasis issue a proper denial through the website and everything.

Yeah I thought maybe it they got it from The Sun, but I can't imagine that being the case here.
We will see...

If they know the sun then I'm sure they wouldn't just pick it up

If they know the sun then I'm sure they wouldn't just pick it up Seeing as that tracklisting hasn't been officially announced in any shape or form, and that it appeared nowhere before The Sun published it, then it can only be assumed that they've fallen into the same trap as a lot of so called professional journalists recently (including such names as XFM and MTV.it) by seeing that it's benn published on a lot of websites, assumed it's true, and gone with it.

It was in my daily RollingStone newsletter on 08/02
OASIS ASSEMBLES GREATIST HITS ALBUM OASIS has sequenced eighteen songs for its greatest hits album, Stop the Clocks, due out in November. The disc will include Brit-pop standards "Champagne Supernova," "Supersonic" and "Wonderwall," plus two new songs: "Boy With the Blues" and the title track, of which frontman NOEL GALLAGHER has said,"I think it's the best song I've ever written. The few people that have heard it really like it. I've got so bored waiting for the La's to come back that it sounds like how I'd want them to if they did return."

I'd imagine it's the Sun's news filtered into the US. I don't think Rolling Stone has any better tap into what's going on in the Oasis camp than you or I.

This is very true... By the way, can we start a really interesting topic, something worthy of my 300th post
