Not sure if anyone caught this or not, but Noel is listed in the "Thank You" section of the notes for U2's Songs of Innocence album. I know Bono and Noel have been friends, and I also know this isn't the first time he's been listed in U2 album notes, but it's still pretty cool to see his name in there. To be fair, there are a ton of names (some famous and some not) in that section, but nice to see nonetheless.

Tbf she wished nothing but the best for U2 (sorry, had to).

I thought it was even more interesting to see Paul Banks of Interpol listed. Noel was already listed on All That You Cant Leave Behind and How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb.

U2? are they still alive? they should call it a day.... Do you live under a rock? Noel's a big mate of Bono - papped last month having dinner in Monaco, might have been celebrating imminent releases of albums....

I know 4-5 years ago Bono and The Edge thought Interpol were one of the best bands on the planet. I like knowing that they still listen to hip music.

Well U2 like Joy Division and Interpol are pretty much just Joy Division so... I always dug the unofficial rivalry with The Strokes. I thought it made Interpol try to be a better band. The Strokes, well they kept declining.

I never really got into The Strokes. I mean, I get the hype around the first album somewhat but nothing since that (the odd tune aside) has really been worth it.

I was so bored listening to this new album. Good production, that first song's riff sounds really cool, some riffs are promising, but jesus, it's still the same old formula. Not that i was expecting something new from U2, and i respect them for what they do and really like the band but.. Still have it on my phone, but i'm scared to listen to it. Death of boredom is what i was always scared of the most.
Actually i'm most scared that i will die, get burried and woke up in coffin six feet underground. And i will have i phone and only new U2 album on. Seriously things like that happens from time to time. But people wake up in right time in church or something luckily. The rest we don't know about.
