I wouldn't say that QPR match - Man City should have won that league at a canter what with the money they'd spent, and it was against a poor QPR of all sides. It was more saving face from humiliation than true greatness. Personally think United's league win the next year was far more impressive given the circumstances.
For me, still got to go to Liverpool in 2005, definitely as a neutral its that match.
That was a crap side with the exception of a few players against a great Milan side. Looked like it was going to end 6-0, how how they ended up winning I will never know. One of the best matches I've ever watched.
I thought United 99 was great too, behind that Liverpool one as the most memorable final. Also, not an even contest but the Brazil-Germany match in this years World Cup will probably be the biggest shock match I've ever watched, in addition to Netherlands/Spain in the same tournament. Those two matches made the World Cup.

United in 99 was pretty unbelievable too.
There was also Juventus vs Udinese in May 2002 where they had to win and roma and inter had to drop points for them to win it, and they did!

Not really,we actually won that day while Inter lost so at the end we got second (as we always do...) For matt yeah they should have won the league weeks before considering the money they spent and the players they had,but the way they won it is still incredible, and talking about Man City: As a Roma fan I'd say this: (We were 2-0 down,Montella scored the equaliser in the last minute, one month later we won the league ending with 2 points over Juventus)

Just for the fact it was on the biggest stage in football sans international competitions. United 99 by a mile , I had them written off. They hoisted the biggest club trophy there is , for that alone best comeback

Nothing will ever top Blackburn's Premier League win in 1995 though.

I know this don't count as it wasn't EPL or bpl but when I was a kid the vaancover whitecaps. The New York cosmos biggest rival wre beating them 4-0 in second half , the pele and chinaligia scored twice each and beckenbauer tne winner with no time left that's when they drew 75,000 in meadowlands. Routinely. Best comeback I ever saw. But I guess it don't count

CL qualifications 2000, Second leg between Inter and HIF (HIF won 1-0 at Olympia, goal by Michael Hansson)
Winning the League is always big. Beating Galatasaray 3-2 at Ali Sami Yen was also a good result, but not much compares to the respect we gained in our area after qualifying for Champions League. It set a standard for our club and we always enter competitions with the feeling that we can beat any team in the world.

Nothing tops Monaco-Nice in 2004/2005 hah.
As a Nice supporter, it's something I still remember while I was only 6. Monaco was finalist of Champions League in 2004 and was leader of the league after 8 games. Nice was only 15st and Monaco led 3-0 after 65 minutes. Nice finally won 4-3, with 4 goals in 15 minutes.

as a Real Madrid&Spain fan I've got some really nice memories... I loved Zizou's goal in 2002 to get the Champions league, it's probably the best shot I've ever seen (for the beauty and the meaning). I can remember a chilena by Rivaldo with Barcelona that was pretty huge too. Or Iniesta goal in 2010 WC final, it was a dream come true (guess Germans feel the same about Götze). That United final was really impressive, cos both goals were really fast.
But the most amazing thing I've ever seen was a chilena shoot, I think it was in Argieland, made from inside the box, in a corner, with 2 rivals very close to the player. It was a perfect, cartoonish shoot, that went inside by the corner of the goal, really unstoppable. It's the shoot you dream about. After he scored, the player went mad and took off his t-shirt (and got the yellow card). Pity the referee didn't give the goal, but said it was a dangerous move and showed him a second yellow card.

Why is there a football team called Manchester United when Manchester is quite clearly divided? This is an interesting point. In some cases you might think that a certein team has a lot of supporters because their home town is relatively big and there is one club which is dominating in the town. However certein places might have a lot of immigrants who favour football clubs from abroad and there's also places where people simply don't care about that particular sport. If I was to look closely I could actually find places where people tend to care more about women's football or curling.
Regarding Manchester I suppose it's insane that Altrincham gets less news coverage around where I live than FC Rosengård.
