When is it been released ?? There hasn't been any announcement yet, not even rumours, nothing. They might have cancelled it and they (Igniton, the management & Noel as the who has the last word on everything) certainly postponed it after it had originally been announced to be released in 2014 and they don't seem to care much. There have been signs of life within the last week (BHN related material uploaded on social media channels in the same way they promoted the other reissues), so there might be something happening within the next couple of months - it's difficult predict since the release strategy will have to be modeled around Noel's album/single promotion and touring plan. Let's hope for the best. I just hope this thread won't repeat itself, starting from page 10 all over again. In that case I might have to seek help for my mental state, not because of people asking and discussing, it's just the pure frustation of not knowing anything definite and being confronted with it. |

Noel said in the Oor interview that the same team work on the reissues as work on his solo stuff and they can only do one project at a time.
So although he delayed CY yesterday a bit for MG, he obviously wasn't happy to delay further for BHN.
Hopefully that means it's just been postponed until the CY campaign dies down, rather than being cancelled entirely.
I still have hope seeing that BHN related videos are still being posted!
There's always 21st August 2017......

That's actually great news considering there were certain clues that the reissue had been cancelled. At least that (and the fact they are starting to post era related material on Twitter) means it's still on the cards and being prepared. Enough for me, right now. Noel will keep us busy for the first half of the year, possibly longer and afterwards they could bring it on. It's gonna be a good year for us, once again, I'm afraid. |

The Oasis FB page just shared Don't go Away Live...
I think the campaign may in fact speed up the closer we get to chasing yesterday. When better to release a reissue than when it's creator is at the top if the charts.

I'll quote my own speculations from last week: "I've just checked all Oasis social media channels and they had started posting Morning Glory era related material roughly two weeks before the reissue was announced in early July last year. Given that there was always a three month-wait between the actual announcement and the release of the DM & MG-reissues and the chance that they might announce BHN within the following two weeks, it could be planned for mid to end of April release. Noel would have the chance to promote it while being on tour. I can't imagine the reissue damaging his album or singles sales in any way. Honestly, i don't care that much about this anymore. Definitely Maybe and Morning Glory re issues brought nothing new to the picture, just demos and b sides that we all heard plus 2 or 3 rare versions. I don't think this round is gonna be any different. I'm sure they've got loads of unreleased songs and demos and all kind of stuff that would blew our minds, but it's just not going anywhere this time, this is for kids. The real holy grail still stays in Noel's house or wherever..
And the remasters ? If they couldn't do much about DM, i'm afraid Be Here Now with all those fuckin' shitloads of squeezed guitars and noise is lost years ago.
I'm looking forward to it for the case of diamonds like Hey Now and Rockin' Chair demos from MG though. These are the best things i've found on these new releases yet.

Fingers crossed we'll get this in our Christmas stockings in 2015, instead of 2014 like we were promised.
On a positive note the delay should mean we are more likely to get a few more rarities then we may have got if it had been released in 2014? A new song from the vaults with Liam's 1997 vocals would make it worth the wait.

From an interview with the Japanese Rockin On mag, kindly translated by appleseed: "Be Here Now" reissue will be out one of these days, but he haven't decided that it will be out this year or something yet. Next year will be the 20th anniversary of Knebworth, so he's thinking about a idea like "Shall I have special plan for 20th anniversary?".
