I think the stripped back Mustique demos would serve as a very nice complement to the larger-than-life BHN as disc 3. With the Bsides on disc 2, there's still room for a few more things. Pretty much spot on.

wow, this looks great! can't wait to have this baby in my hands at last. the legend of this album grows by the day. amazing. will it one day surpass definitely maybe and morning glory? Saw someone on reddit say something like "despite being much maligned, the album remains a cult classic". I guess that's quite accurate, really, because it's not just us on here, who've all been driven stark raving mad from years of following the Gallagher's, you look in the comments section of any YouTube video with a Be Here Now-era song in it, and you will inevitably find a comment along the lines of, "I don't know why Noel's so harsh on this album..." We've all kind of forgotten about this actually being a remaster, in all the excitement for the D'You Know What I Mean remix, and the two new songs, but if this one actually does sound changed (and surely it could only sound better), then maybe we'll see critics and casuals start to come around as well... The tide is turning... "Oasis' third album, the cult classic, Be Here Now" has a nice ring to it, don't you think?... indeed. this is their 'exile on main st.'

Anyone willing to upload it to YouTube? Otherwise I'm waiting 6 more hours for a listen. You'll be rewarded with internet points and karma I'm sure. I would DM you a link but it's tied to the Amazon Music app for me unfortunately.

Trying to explain to my wife why I'm so excited. "Because a band who no longer exist have brought out a slightly different version of a song off a critically panned album they released two decades ago." Haha. A belter of a post. Had something similar with my old man before. I was so excited (update: I still am!) I just had to say something. Can't remember what I said exactly, but it was probably something along the lines of " Mustique...Mick Jagger's house...two new songs!..."

Wait, what? What's going on?! The day of reckoning. To avoid confusion (and to save on vital typing time) between the original D'You Know What I Mean? and the new D'You Know What I Mean? (NG's 2016 Rethink), what d'you think, should we call the latter simply, the Reckoner from now on??

Nobody knows, yeah nobody knows, the way it's gonna be. Don't, now I'm thinking about how epic Stand By Me (NG 2016 Rethink) would sound.

On Blur forums, Steve Hoffman, etc. The only people who think it's shit are elitist music journalists.

Nobody knows, yeah nobody knows, the way it's gonna be. I'm listening to Stand By Me at the moment and I just read this post at the exact time that he sang that line.

Lots of praise for the songs, but not for the production lol.

Still a no go for me. It would need to be Vimeo anyway or similar, YT are going to police this as they do a lot of other tracks

Still a no go for me. Got a VPN? Try setting it to Australia or maybe New Zealand and trying again.

Nobody knows, yeah nobody knows, the way it's gonna be. Don't, now I'm thinking about how epic Stand By Me (NG 2016 Rethink) would sound. That NEEDS to happen. The bits of the string section you can actually hear on the record are beauty beyond belief. And Noel's guitar work over the top, despite being overblown and overly indulgent and all that, sounds great as well. There just needs to be more clarity so you can hear all that loveliness!
