Shame that Noel doesn't seem to be doing it - he may well have nominated Damon and from there, Damon has worked with so many people that anyone could have come up. It could have got interesting.

"While I'm all for doing things that promote awareness for degenerative/chronic/fatal diseases, I feel like some people forget the whole reason for raising the awareness. It's more important to donate to the proper charity so that cures/preventative medicines can be developed than to join the craze of making a video about it. Just my opinion."
Not saying that's what Liam's doing nor would it be so if Noel joined in, but I think some forget the point of these videos. Congrats to Liam and hopefully Noel donates.

My Facebook today is filled up with chavs that somehow are friends of friends of friends just doing this bucket thing. Yawn. I like that Liam done it, but at the same time kinda wishes he hadn't. These bandwagon things annoy me.

i really don't care how the money's raised for this disease....hipster doofuses being hipster doofuses or whatever. ALS is one few diseases that doesn't have any effective treatments.
let idiots dump water on their heads, just make sure to donate for more research for at least better treatments of the disease.

Even though these sort of things annoy me too, I must say some of them were pretty funny, like the one the Foo Fighters did, or Benedict Cumberbatch.
Also, Chris Martin and Stella McCartney nominated Paul McCartney. I wonder if HE will do it.

Liam's YT vid has one link in it. To donate to the Motor nureone disorder association. So when people become Aware via his video the link to donate is there instantly. I think the charitable things Oasis. Liam and Noel and Pretty Green done over years it's fair to say they'll have donated. |

I agree with LIB. I really don't care how money is raised for this disease.
I watched a mini documentary about the man who has this desease on Belgium TV Friday night.
If well-known people can raise the money in this way to be able to give a better treatment to the people like this guy, why do you even consider for a moment to do it or not?
