Apparently Kun Aguero is challenging Liam to be part of the ALS charity fundraising Anyone who doesn't know about the Ice Bucket Challenge, look hereDo you think Liam would take the challenge? He has 24 hours to respond to the challenge, otherwise he'll donate 100$ to the ALS Association.

No way he will donate 20% of his net worth, he must do the challenge.

No way he will donate 20% of his net worth, he must do the challenge. He'll donate either way. The main goal of the ice bucket challenge is to nomimate more people, so they'll learn about ALS and donate if they want.

Hope he doesn't do it. I always find it vaguely pathetic when people just succumb to peer pressure, regardless of the cause. That's probably just me though.

I don't really like the whole idea that if you don't do it within 24 hours that you'll have to pay 100$. According to whom? The magical leprechaun that's going to sneak into your home and take it from your wallet? Haha.
But if I were Liam, I'd skip the ice bucket and just donate a thousand to the foundation. Surely he can afford that. There's no need, as teadrinker said, to succumb to peer pressure and look a fool just trying to fit in.
Oprah did this challenge, where's her million dollar donation? She's got plenty of money for her children and her childrens children. Why do rich folk like that donate miniscule amounts, or about as much as a commoner normally would?
Who will be the first to nominate the Queen?

Many people do it and donate also. Others are jumping on the bandwagon and doing it for fun.
The most important thing is that having so many famous people doing it helps spread the word and create awareness. The ALS association raised over 20 million dollars in the past few weeks. And it all goes to research, there's no cure. ALS is a terrible disease. Some people last a few months, others last years (like Stephen Hawkins, for example). Instead of wondering about "peer pressure" or how cheap celebrities are, watch that video LIB linked above.

Still don't know what ALS is off the top of my head. A disease that causes progressive loss of motor function. Usually starts at the feet and then progresses until you can't uses the muscles that you use to breath. Also called Lou Gehrig's disease sometimes if that helps.

I think this is a good idea, you're making people laugh, making others aware of ALS and in some cases donating money..and a lot has been donated so far.
I hope Liam does it and nominates Noel

Or seemingly done it in any self promoting manner which is crazy in the celeb world all feels genuine for the cause. I think most celebs done it in an informal manor and more celebs that do it more awareness it raises., for example it's being discussed on this forum now.

It would be too obvious if they tried to promote thier own stuff within the video. But, it's good publicity nonetheless. It just makes me wonder, how many of those people actually care or are just hitching a ride for good press.

Even if they are (which don't think they are) they not got anything to gain There are so many literally 100s and 100s no body taking any attention really to who's doing them as such just raises awareness when it's a celeb you like . If they can do that and people look into the disease and donate etc jobs a good 'un
