Will Wenger win at least 1 more major trophy before he resigns from Arsenal (i.e., within the next three seasons), or was last Season's FA Cup victory more a fluke rather than a the beginning of a trend? Major defined as: Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Champions League. He deserves to. And I think he'll lift some silverware again, I just don't know which. One Arsene Wenger, there's only one Arsene Wenger......

The new supply of money from the majority shareholder Stan Kroenke and their deal with Emirates will win then more silverware, Wenger himself won't, he's about as useful as a fart in a spacesuit.

Oh yeah, without a doubt, you'd think even the arsenal board would have had enough if they managed only another season of 4th/5th place mediocrity. No, they will be in with a serious shout of the top spot this year imo because of all this spending. That's what I'm saying, arsenal CAN do it now, but only because the money's there now, it has little do with Wenger "winning" them the trophy. He's not good enough for that imo.

No chance of winning the league, or champions league. i give him a 40% chance of winning a domestic cup.

That and maybe a defender then they can challenge on all fronts.

That stadium is what made wenger a bad coach ....too much debt ....if they never left highbury and never lost Henry. They would have rewrote EPL IMO

Why not , Liverpool nearly did with less budget , I think winning tTHE leauge is feasible nearly being the important word, plus liverpool were not in europe and out of both cups by mid febuary. I simply cannot see arsenal within 3 years being better than both man city and chelsea. plus under van gaal united will win everything anyway

I dont consider the FA or league cup to be relevant tbh, if he cant win the league or a european cup, then he's flopped again.
I can't see him winning either of those 3 though tbh. I think this season will be Chelsea or City

I think Arsenal and Wenger need to separate their ways. New impulse is needed for Arsenal and the same for Arsman if u ask me.
But I d rather see Arsenal winning the league than City.

I apologise for the late reply, I did type out a long-arse reply on the 23rd but my internet crashed as I went to send it and I lost it. If truth be told kalas, I'm in no position to make a prediction like that. There's nothing worse than someone who tries to talk about a major sport like this when they really don't have a clue what they're going on about and for whatever reason I've watched next to no football over the last year. It all changes so fast in the EPL these days, I really don't have a clue about who's stronger than who nowadays. I do intend on getting back into it though, I caught a few games at the end of last season, like the City/Liverpool one at Anfield and it was a belting game. By all accounts I missed a great season last year. I would say though that I can see Arsenal being this seasons Liverpool and look very dangerous but ultimately fall short of City at the end of the season. Arsenal always look promising anyway but their signings'll carry them a bit further this time. Ultimately though, Wenger won't be able to install that winning mentality Fergie always had with United and so won't be able to slug it out for the results they'll need. Liverpool without Suarez, god knows where they'll go now, probably jostling for 4th is the best they can hope for now.
Of course, I'm most interested in the fate of United this season. Even though I only support a measly Championship team, just about every club who isn't Man. United considers United as their own personal rivals. Van Gaal can only do so much though, their team just hasn't been that good for a few years now imo. I'd say they'll probably get into Champions League places but that's about it

which united player did arsenal want in a Vermaelen swap? Smalling. I will never know how TV5 lost the plot. He had an immense debut season. Always liked him. 15m is blatant robbery, so I'm not too concerned with the sale. AW better use it to invest further this window, though. We need a DM badly, and now CD cover with the sale of TV5. If we buy no one further, AW will have fucked this window up once more. I expect to get one of the two positions outlined above - ideally DM, whom I guess could be converted to a CD on an ad hoc basis. Would be nice to get both, but I don't see AW doing that. But we need a strong DM badly, otherwise we'll be 1-2 players short once again, thus more of the same. Still time. Have faith.
