I was watching BBC4 last night that had a Britpop night on.
The Live Forever documentary was on which ive seen a million times before. Now then, Noel says that the Blur single was ready to go, but Damon delayed it so that it would be released the same week as Oasis.
Later on in the night there was a another small docu by John Harris. Ive got his book that he wrote but never got round to reading it. Now he states that Blur brought the single forward.
So who's correct?

It was brought forward, Roll With It was scheduled to come out the week before Country House. Blur claim that they had an earlier agreement with Marcus Russell that the albums/singles wouldn't come out at the same time. But Roll With It was pencilled in much earlier than they expected, so, worried about looking scared of going up against Oasis, instead of moving Country House's release date away from Roll With It, they brought the release date forward so that it was released in the same week.
