I've basically heard it was written by Noel to fill his quota of songs the record label gave him for each album. But I've never seen any official credits to be sure about it.
I'm kind of asking this because I could swear someone said it was a Led Zeppelin cover, though that's improbable. They weren't credited on the sleeve and I can't find any references to Led doing a song by that name. Unless of course it's one of those cases where it was so close to one of theirs that people say it's the same thing.
(That's the hidden song on Heathen Chemistry, in case anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about.)

I'm pretty sure it's credited to the whole band.

Is 'The Cage' the official name?
I seperated it out of Better Man so it's by itself and it really tops off HC.

Written by 'Gallagher; (although it also refers to Noel's publishing company and not Liam's). Produced by 'The Band', Keyboards by Mike Rowe, backing vocals by Paul Weller and recorded at Wheeler End.
