Do we want this song of the next High Flying Birds album or do we want 11 or 12 unheard of material? I mean the song is very very old at this point. Part of me would rather have newer, fresher songs. Thoughts? True but I would like to hear the proper version

If Noel includes all the songs we've already heard, he's entitled to. It's his songs, we are not supposed to have heard them. They were ALL leaked. Doesn't matter that they are 10 or 20 years old. Most artists keep songs until they sound right with other songs. That's call making an album.
So roll on Come on outside, She Must Be One Of Us, it makes me wanna cry... etc if Noel feels like they belong together.

He's Noel Gallagher but all he could come up with was "the size of a cow" kinell should be "The talk of the town" Noel son. Pop me PRS royalty cheque in the post please. It's a place holder lyric in a demo. I'll reserve proper lyrical judgement until an official release. Love how if this was a Liam penned track your first post would be a subtle sarcastic dig at Liam like "this is liam we're talking about, cows are a sign of improvement in his songs" and then waited for a response.

Thoughts? B-side. I hated that HFB had just a handful of new tunes. It kind of ruined it for me. So save the absolute best of the demos for album tracks and put everything else as b-sides. However, I'd like to see Come On Outside as maybe a promotional standalone single. Or imagine a double A-side with Come On Outside and Freaky Teeth! Or he could release another "Masterplan". with everything leftover that he records and mixes for these sessions. That might be a great bridge until the time for his third main album.. I definitely think these types of things should be released in some way or another even if I would prefer the unheard material Anything like this should probably be reserved for b-sides/bonus tracks That way the shit gets out and we still get the new stuff. Everyone wins, lol

You are totally rational on all things Noel. When it gets to Liam there is usually, if not always, a subtle dig at him.

Oh I've buried Noel too over the years with regards to the Death In Vegas sessions, the boring HFB version of STC, an awful HFB LP cover and the failed AA album.

Here's hoping we still get some tunes from the remnants of AA. Surely they completed more than two songs for the remixes and maybe at least 1 original tune from the actual album.

I really like the tune, and I feel it could be a single at some point... although I really believe the final version of this song would be very similar to the one we know (like STC and RM)...
What really excites me is seeing this tune live in Noel's setlist. It's just one of those songs that were made to be played live.

Please please please don't let Sardy murder it if it's released Can you imagine the audiological head fuck if Owen Morris was given the raw tapes and allowed to mix NGHFB 1/2? Come on Outside would be like injecting crack cocaine in your forehead Let's hope Sardy stays 1000+ miles away from Noel's album at any given time.

Well, considering that for what we know, the album has been produced in London, something tells me Sardy has stayed away from it

I've been anti-Sardy since 2009. Keep it fresh and interesting Noel. Loads of producers in the world. Use some.

I'd still like for Spike Stent to return. Or Dave Sitek who has a similar sound to Stent.
Not going to happen, but I can dream.

this song doesnt do it for me like some of the other leaks but i'll take any song from the chief and give it full ears...the chorus is abit boring in this song though, but i like the verses...ah well.
