Radio Supernova cleaned this up and it sounds great.

I actually listened to this today for the first time in half a year today. It's an ok song. I could easily see it being right before Record Machine on DOYS. Never thought RM would fit on DOYS, but this song would be a perfect transition.
Noel truly fucked up the entire second half of that record all because he didn't want to deal with Liam delaying to get married. Unbelievable.
Maybe meddle with the order of 8, 9, and 10, and switch them around, but that's one hell of an album and flows perfectly, and it still leaves off some decent tracks. Fucking moronic how they fucked this record up. 'the fuck was Noel playing at? It does my head in.
1. Bag It Up 2. The Turning 3. Waiting for the Rapture 4. The Shock of the Lightning 5. I'm Outta Time 6. (Get Off Your) High Horse Lady 7. Falling Down 8. To Be Where There's Life 9. Come On Out Side 10. Record Machine 11. Soldier On
And it is Cow.

Different EQ and extra reverb on Noel's vocals.

Adore this song. I can only hope he has the sense to stick it on HFB II. Deserves to be on it.
"Your problems are the talk of the town" is actually a nice fitting, less cringe-worthy lyric. Touche, sir.

Yeah it amazes me how bad some of Noel's rhymes are. Takes anyone with a brain about 30 seconds to think of a better alternative.

He's Noel Gallagher but all he could come up with was "the size of a cow" kinell should be "The talk of the town" Noel son. Pop me PRS royalty cheque in the post please. It's a place holder lyric in a demo. I'll reserve proper lyrical judgement until an official release.

...The Voices in your head get so loud...
And their shouts and their snides make you frown
And their shouts and their snides force a frown
And their shouts and their snides make you doubt
you got a laugh like a face paint-ed clown
And the problems make you break all your vows.
...When the world and this life get you down...
Lmao. I had fun.

Do we want this song of the next High Flying Birds album or do we want 11 or 12 unheard of material? I mean the song is very very old at this point. Part of me would rather have newer, fresher songs.
Thoughts?

Thoughts? B-side. I hated that HFB had just a handful of new tunes. It kind of ruined it for me. So save the absolute best of the demos for album tracks and put everything else as b-sides. However, I'd like to see Come On Outside as maybe a promotional standalone single. Or imagine a double A-side with Come On Outside and Freaky Teeth! Or he could release another "Masterplan". with everything leftover that he records and mixes for these sessions. That might be a great bridge until the time for his third main album..

Thoughts? Well, none of these songs were supposed to be heard yet, or have been by the masses. I think we just happen to be spoiled by internet leaks. Can't he just release everything...
