Why didn't they have it? Oasis played it at Earls Court and Maine Road, not to mention it's a mega tune.

While we are on the subject of There and Then. Why didn't they put it on cd too? It was only released on WHS right? It just seems stupid that they didn't use every format available back then. Oasis-mania was rolling back then and yet they didn't put There an Then nor Live by the sea on cd.

Noel must of loved performing Whatever in 10 Years Of Noise & Confusion. He looked like he was having a good time during that gig.

I dont understand why not everywhere else? As for Whatever, they do play a clip of it when there talking about Alan McGee discovering them. I remember, cos I freaked out when I first saw it, cos I have no clue what the song was! The I am the Walrus from Earls court is AMAZING...I love the horns

Not sure if they were allowed to? Something to do with the writer of a very similar song hearing Whatever after its orginal release, saying Oasis would be sued for the royalties if it was commercially released on anything else, which is why it wasn't on WTSMG and probably this!

Neil Ines was the guy Noel ripped off "how to be an idoit" and he sued him..then Stevie Wonder sued them for Step Out thats why it was pulled off MG.... But it makes me wonder, maybe they had different settlements but Step Out is on FTM....and whatever couldnt appear on THere and then... I dunno

I dunno On FTM, Step Out was credited to Henry Crosby/Stevie Wonder/Sylvia Moy/Gallagher, I guess that's how they got it onto FTM. I don't think Step Out would of really fit into WTSMG anyways.

it's surprising that even the loons like jennysupersonic don't know why it wasn't on the dvd. first of all whatever wasn't played at earls court second during the maine road show liam walked off stage during whatever and left noel to sing it.

Still could of shown. Way I see it, Noel could've of used it as a reason to praise himself.

of course there were 2 shows at maine road so they could've taken it from the other gig. ive always thought that the full band versions of whatever sound like shit live. the thing that works about the studio version is that its so dry (as in, lack of reverb). the energy gets lost on it live when its drenched in the huge stadium/arena reverb. one of the only live versions i like of it is noise and confusion.

That's true. Everything sounds so full in the studio version.
