I agree with much of what Collins says there, however our game is run by dinosaurs who can't see past Celtic and Rangers and who don't seem to realise there is a world outside Glasgow, no wonder Cathro got out of Hampden at the first opportunity.

I know they play a decent brand of football, what do the fans think of him? I support Caledonian Thistle myself, and John Hughes is more progressive than hoof-ball merchant Terry Butcher, so its decent to see a bit of progression. Just how progressive he is remains to be seen though.

Well we have been pretty poor this season, even though we are up near the top of the league, we've not got near the kind of football we played last season. Yet. We are missing Gauld and Robertson big time. McNamara is still relatively inexperienced as managers go, so I would say overall he's doing quite well with room for improvement. I like Hughes, he's not the sharpest tool in the box but he does get his teams playing good football.

I probably shouldn't tell you this because you hate all Brazilians, but I picked up the Brazil National team home and away shirts, eva. After the World Cup, Nike had a great sale on World Cup apparel and I couldn't pass them up. the authentic game shirts, too. Brazil could call me up to play in the next match - love their shirts. Hopefully they really improve my game or at least my prowess in the bedroom. Obrigado.

Only when it relates to football I wore the blue away shirt yesterday, and I'm probably going to wear the yellow home shirt today because Brazil plays a friendly today. But, I don't really care if they win, like I said, I like the shirts. Obrigado.

I'll probably eventually get the Argentina home stripes shirt to impress eva.... i really only got the Brazil jerseys to impress Tom Brady's wife, Giselle, and in turn to impress Tom Brady. God bless.

They got beat by Hearts 2-0 yesterday and are are now 9 points behind Hearts who are undefeated so far this season so it looks like at the moment the only way they will get promoted is via the play offs. They still appear to be in compete disarray off the field with one Walter Mitty character after another lining up to take charge over the last couple of years. The owner of Newcastle United, Mike Ashley, is now involved and has loaned them a load of cash to prevent another liquidation happening. They've been drawn against Celtic in the league cup semi's which take place at the end of January. If Celtic play anywhere near their best they will put 5 or 6 past them easily.

Sounds like they got a lot of work left to getting back to " old firm " status. Cheers

If they don't go into administration again and don't get points deduction, they may get into the Premier League in a couple of years time - don't think it will happen this season though. God knows how long it will take them to get back competing at the top with Celtic - at the very least 5 years I'd think considering nothing goes wrong. Place where I live is teaming with Celtic fans (only half a mile from Celtic Park) and though they seem to revel in Rangers predicament, in their heart of hearts, surely it's nowhere near as exciting for them as it used to be. It's pretty dire with Scottish football at the moment.

See that's how I see it Celtic / Rangers are as much as a blood feud as there is in any sport i would think celtic supporters HAVE to miss that special rival. Of course not the violence , but some bad blood is always good ........ In my sport hockey , I can tell you that when the New York Islanders suck the hatred is not as intense ....and believe me I actually rooted for tne SOVIETS when they played the islanders , to me they were the real enemy the soviets never hurt me ..... Now the rivalry is not so intense the isles have not been good for awhile , so I bet celtic supporters on one hand are happy but down deep gotta miss the fight

Henry retiring,Lampard going to New York in January,Del Piero "playing" in the Indian League,Gerrard and Totti still playing for their beloved teams and always trying to do their best, but being criticised by some of their own fans...it's the end of an era
